Winter roads, salt spray, jobsite mud… bring it on.

What happens when you do something dumb to your truck and it won’t start?
I called Jason @4wheeloutfitters (because his diesel knowledge is unreal). After he finished laughing at me, he came over, grabbed my truck, and took it a mile down the street to @atowndiesel.

Ashden and Justin know their stuff. The very next day, I was pulling a trailer up to Incline Village like nothing ever happened.

Huge thanks to all of you for getting me back on the road! by @innovative_stone

Just in: Brown Agata
Another bold, beautiful slab from @nova_tile_and_stone.
This one’s headed into a powder room where design does all the talking.
Rich caramel tones, translucent depth, and gold resin stitching, it’s like functional art.
Follow us to see how it turns out.

Agata Vermelho just arrived—and it’s a showstopper.
We just unloaded this slab from @nova_stone_and_tile for the same custom project in Incline Village, NV where we’re using Cristallo Luminescence.
This one’s made from real agate—deep reds, glowing layers, and crystal-like patterns that almost look alive.
It’s bold, rare, and catches the light from every angle
This slab’s going front and center on the upper face, surrounded by honed Nero Mist granite

Follow us to see how this Agata Vermelho and the Cristallo Luminescence come together in one incredible Lake Tahoe home.

Cristallo Luminescence just hit the shop—watch it glow.

We just unloaded this incredible slab from @nova_stone_and_tile for a custom install in Incline Village, NV.
As it turns, you can actually see the clarity—this Cristallo Luminescence is next-level translucent.
It’s getting backlit, and once it’s in, it’s going to glow.
We’ve worked with a lot of translucent stone over the years… but this one’s in a class of its own
Follow us to see the final install. It’s going to be wild.

🔁 TILE ILLUSION 🔁
We don’t do tile, but this one literally stopped me in my tracks.
Depending on how you look at it, it turns into three completely different patterns.
Huge shoutout to @artisanstonegallery for stocking creative stuff like this; we’re always keeping an eye out for standout details our customers might love.

(Also @icon.tile, I told you I might post it 😄)

Not our product, but wow… design people, you’ll get it. 👀

There’s something magical about watching quartzite come to life in the shop. 💎

This green beauty is Esmeralda, followed by the striking Azulejo Macaubus. Both are true quartzites—known for their hardness—but what sets them apart is that soft, deep, almost fluid look you get when the light hits just right.

Even with their strength, these stones have such a graceful presence.

While we were up above Donner Lake...

…our other crew was soaking in the sun over in Kings Beach, working on this stunning lakeside project. Not a bad view to start the day - Lake Tahoe just inches from the deck, glistening after a fresh snowstorm. 🌊☀️❄️

Inside, the star of the show is that luxurious Perla Venata Leathered Quartzite from @ArizonaTile - subtle movement, soft texture, and pure elegance. 😍

Swipe through for a closer look at the views, the house, and that gorgeous kitchen island we brought to life. 🔨✨

We rolled into Donner Lake a couple of days ago for a job, and the snow was deep! Someone had already been out enjoying it too—check out those fresh ski tracks right over the snowsheds. 🎿❄️

Getting there was a mission of its own… chain controls had traffic backed up on I-80, but the views made up for it. We took the scenic route home over Old Hwy 40 - hard to beat the beauty.

Meanwhile, the rest of the crew was tackling a job over in Lake Tahoe’s Kings Beach… more on that in the next post! 👀🏔️
