Located along an important migratory corridor, the Finger Lakes region welcomes thousands of birds throughout the year.

Did you know? Birds that nest on the ground are more vulnerable to predators, but they go to great lengths to protect their young. Masters at camouflaging their nests to blend in with the environment, they use surrounding vegetation as inspiration and source material to hide in plain sight.
