HAPPY INNUEWEDNESDAYYY 🪩💋 This week we have Michelle Ferrone with her “Why Innuendo” !!!!😊 Michelle is a senior who joined the group her sophomore year! She wanted to share how Innuendo has given her some of her closest friends!!! :) … “When I first auditioned for Innuendo, I hoped to find a group that was musically different to what I was used to in choir. When I became a member of the group, I not only gained this experience but also some of my favorite people on campus. In all my years of singing, I have truly never been in a group as close-knit and supportive as this one. Whether we’re playing spike ball on the quad, hanging out at the DP pool, or having our weekly Innu-Pit dinners, my day is always better when Innuendo is in it. One of my fav parts of our group is our annual mountain and beach retreats — I’ll never forget playing in the snow in 20 degree weather, getting knocked out by the waves in OBX, or Andrew pelting me in the neck with a water balloon from a balcony. No matter the stress any of us are going through at the time, rehearsal and all the spaces in between with Innuendo feel like breaths of fresh air. Last year, when the seniors graduated, they gave speeches about their time in Innuendo and it moved me so much to see how much of an impact the group had on them too (I miss them so much!!). It’s rare to find that kind of trust in any group of people - even rarer to find that in a college acappella group, yet Innuendo has it and I’m so lucky to be part of it. ❤️❤️ “ by @innuendowfu

HAPPY INNUEWEDNESDAY!!!! 🎸🎸⭐️ Next up is Chasen Cage with his “Why Innuendo” !!! 🙌 Chasen is a senior this year and joined Innuendo his sophomore year, so he wanted to share how this group has further improved his experience here at Wake! :) … “After singing in choirs all my life, I knew I wanted to find somewhere to sing at Wake. I was fortunate to find more than just a group of talented people, but another family. From staring at the stars having deep conversations on retreat to playing spike ball on the beach in Martha’s Vineyard to holding back tears at the Spring Concert, I’ve had some of my most fun moments at Wake with this group. I’m truly blessed to have found friends like these, and it’s made all the better that we get to make amazing music together!” by @innuendowfu

HAPPY INNUEWEDNESDAY!!❤️🖤❤️🖤Starting off our “Why Innuendo Wednesday” posts we have LUCY THOMPSON! 🤗She joined Innuendo last year as a freshman and wanted to share what this group has meant to her!… 🫶 “ Joining and being a part of Innuendo was genuinely the best part of my freshman year! While innuendo is obviously an a cappella group, we are also a VERY close group of friends, and through innuendo I have met some of my best friends on campus, not just the two other freshmen, but also all the upperclassmen in the group who I never would’ve gotten to know otherwise!! The seniors last year were some of my favorite people in the entire world, and they immediately adopted all of the new people into their family. They bullied me constantly (especially Tato, Matt and Wilson) but in the sweetest way possible, and I miss them all so so much. Shaan especially is someone that I always knew I could talk to when I was having a hard time, or who I could call when I needed a ride somewhere lol. Through innuendo I also met Jenna who ended up being my big (and the rest of my amazing Lin 💗)!! I don’t know if I would have met her otherwise, but she quickly became one of my favorite people at Wake, and I can’t imagine my life without her!!! As a freshman, it was amazing to join the group so early in the year because it meant that I had a constant group of friends while everything else in my life at Wake still felt uncertain. I am forever thankful that I get to be a part of this incredible group!!!! “ by @innuendowfu
