About 10 years ago, I set a quiet goal for myself — to one day shoot a feature-length documentary as a cinematographer. Today, I had the privilege of doing just that.

I took this photo with @jlin7 a decade ago while I was working at NBCUniversal as a camera operator. Back then, I was focused on learning, growing, and finding my way. Fast forward ten years, and Jeremy is now the executive producer of the documentary I had the honor of shooting as DP.

The road here hasn’t been easy, and it certainly hasn’t been quick. But I’m grateful for every step, every lesson, and every person who believed in me along the way. Still learning, still growing — and still going.

💬 Have you ever said yes to something before you felt ready?

“I have. If it’s an opportunity I’ve dreamed of, I can’t say no to it.” — Brian

When filming Olympian athletes, Brian had to literally train to keep up, sometimes chasing runners on a bike just to get the perfect shot. 🚴🎥

Remember opportunity doesn’t always wait for you to feel ready. Sometimes you just have to say yes, then do the work to rise to it. ❤️‍🔥

What’s one time you said yes before you felt ready?
