I always acknowledge my head rooster Butter first when going into the chicken yard and that includes treat time! 💛

Butters job as head of the flock is not only keeping watch and keeping his ladies safe but also finding the best food for them. Roosters will tid bit and call their ladies over and show them where the good eats are! Just another reason why roosters are awesome 😍

Big thank you to @inpetsbio who sent me this very large box of grubs to try! 😍 I’d say they were a hit and with 30+ chickens having a big box is much needed 😅

After walking through health challenges in our family, I’ve learned just how important the little things can be, including what we feed the animals that feed us. My chickens come running for these 100% plant-fed black soldier fly larvae from INPETS, and I love having a treat I can feel good about giving them. Happy hens, wholesome eggs, and one more intentional choice for our family. 🐓🥚

INPETS 100% Plant-Fed now available on #Amazon @inpetsbio by @inpetsbio

Our first eggs are just around the corner! 🥚🐓

As we're getting ready for our girls to start laying, I've been paying more attention to what goes into their daily routine, including their treats.

I love giving them INPETS Black Soldier Fly Larvae because they're 100% plant-fed and traceable. Since we'll be eating the eggs our girls lay, I want to be intentional about what I feed our flock, too.

And judging by how quickly they come running when they see the bag, the girls approve!

If you're raising backyard chickens, INPETS is one to check out! INPETS Black Soldier Fly Larvae are also available on Amazon!

Someone broke into the shed, stole the whole bag of @inpetsbio larvae, and left the evidence under a tree like a raccoon with a grudge. 🦝 My chickens are now the prime suspects AND the main beneficiaries. Welcome to Whorley’s Ridge, where nothing makes sense and the snacks are 100% plant-fed. 🐔🪰 #chickens #homesteading #inpets #unhinged by @inpetsbio

Friday morning treats from @inpetsbio clean and plant fed larvae 🐛 that both my chickens and ducks love

I give it to my ducks 🦆 on water and mix it with their feed for that extra calcium since they just started to lay eggs and this helps them build strong egg shells

They love it 🐓🦆 thanks @inpetsbio

When @inpetsbio reached out and offered to send us some of their 100% plant-fed larvae, we were thrilled! We had actually been using their product for quite some time already (thanks Chewy delivery!) as our flock loves a good black soldier fly larvae snack. They are high in protein and rich in calcium, making them a better choice than mealworms.

Inpets uses 100% plant-fed larvae with fully traceable ingredients and emphasizes quality and safety standards. That’s the kind of transparency we love to see when choosing what to feed our flock!

The only problem? Apparently, our turkeys decided they wanted to be the stars of this show. Between knocking over the tripod, pecking at everything, and me forgetting how to speak English, we may have gotten more bloopers than actual footage but the message is still genuine!

Thank you, Inpets, for reaching out to our little farm and for making a product I can feel good about feeding to my flock.
