Our most precious baby crossed over the rainbow last night at 3am 🐾🕊️🤎🌈

We are, of course, utterly heartbroken. But also eternally grateful for the 12 years that we had the pleasure & privilege of being part of her life. She was our everything. She’s the reason we survived and overcame so many life struggles. She healed us completely and we know she left this world fully aware that we loved her so much, just as much as she loved us. Despite our pain though, we have no regrets. She was our greatest gift and she’ll follow us wherever we go, in heart and spirit. Our entire family was present as she took her last breaths & we’re sure that right now she’s playing & running around, finally pain-free. 🥺🫶🐾

Let’s talk about reading companions! ✨📖🐈‍⬛

Meet Kihrin, she’s my adorable 4 year old cat but behaves like a kitten. She has absolutely no respect over my personal space, likes to nap on top of my books and believes she’s the boss of the house. She saw I was taking a photo and immediately thought to jump in so I thought to share this blurry photo of her because if she wants to make an appearance why not let her. 😂

Wishing you a lovely Monday! ☕️🤍✨

What book are you determined to read this month? 📖🍂

I really want to finish The Auction! I started it earlier this year, but got distracted by other reads. However I’m in the mood to restart and finish it! Have you read it? by @inquietsolitude

Have you added any books to your spooky season tbr? 🤎🎃

My sister read Demons and Diplomacy last month and said it was such a fun read, so now I have to read it! I always enjoy reading light-hearted humor, but add in cozy paranormal chaos? Totally a must-read & so perfect for this season. Can’t wait to dive in!

What have you been reading lately? 📖🍂

I’m almost done with Fated to the Demon Lord, a gothic fantasy romance that I’m very much enjoying. But after this I am picking back up Nobody’s Quest. It starts off really good and I look forward to finally finishing it this week!

What are your plans for the weekend? 🍁🤎

I plan to go out for coffee, bake, and play a new cozy game that I found yesterday on xbox. Oh, and try to finish my current reads of course! ☕️📖

How’s the reading weather in your side of the world? 🤎🔖

September arrived and with it lots of rain, something I’m not mad about at all because it sets the perfect reading mood. 🌧️ I also baked my first batch of “pan de muerto” last night & that’s how we we officially launch our fave season in this household. 🍂🌼

What I’m currently doing… 🤎🍂

I found a bookish puzzle over the weekend while cleaning my closet and it’s been stored for so long that I’ve decided to finally put it together. So my vibe right now is Whisper of the Heart ghibli movie playing in the background + bookish puzzle + coffee ☕️

Craving for coffee but already drank my last mug of the day… 🥹☕️🍂

I just noticed I’m missing some ingredients to make my favorite cozy drinks, but I do have plenty of coffee & chocolate so all is good. Will add a mental note for the next grocery shopping trip though!

On another note, I’m making good progress with both of my current reads and hoping to finish at least one of them before the month is over.
