One year ago today… I couldn’t walk.

On 11/11/24, after brain surgery for a tumor removal, I found myself here, outside Lynn Rehab, unsure of how to take even one step on my own. What followed was one of the most humbling and transformative journeys of my life.

Today, standing here again, I’m filled with deep gratitude. For my body’s resilience. For every person who stood by me. For the team who cared for me. And for God, who walked with me every single step.

This isn’t about looking back, it’s about honoring the climb.
I’m not the same woman I was a year ago. I’m stronger, softer, clearer, and more committed to living with purpose.

Thank you to everyone who poured into me. I carry that love with me daily. taken in Miami-Jackson Memorial Hospital by @insayda_
