Testing innovation from the inside out: Zalando Training Club x @adidas 👟

At Zalando, shaping the future of sports and fashion ecommerce means testing the gear ourselves.

Recently, the Zalando Training Club teamed up with adidas for an exclusive internal test event at adidas BASE. We put the new adidas Adizero Pro Hybrid shoes to the ultimate test.

Our team took on a high-intensity hybrid workout. It was designed to test the shoe’s performance across rapid transitions, stability and reactivity – from dynamic cardio to functional strength.

To keep the energy high from first sprint to final rep, Beats & Burpees dropped live, high-tempo beats to power the session 🏋️‍♂️

A massive thank you to adidas for hosting our team and bringing the energy. And a huge shoutout to everyone who showed up to test the gear, break a sweat and represent!

Our Asia Pacific Community Circle (APCC) brought Berlin HQ together for the Mid-Autumn Festival under the theme “Under One Moon, Reunify as One Team”.

An executive panel with Joyce (VP Engineering and APCC Executive Sponsor) and James (SVP Marketing and Content), moderated by Lisa and Dang, kicked off the event. Together, they explored how cultural empathy and workplace unity drive career growth and team performance.
