Freakcitycore Runway III will have DFEMT spinning for a Chicago Fashion Week experience you won’t want to miss. DFEMT combines groove, industrial, and techno to create an unforgettable experience for the audience this October. Dark, underground beats and sounds will blend with the grungy garments designed by Insidious Studios for this year’s FCC collection.

The show will be at 2141 w 21st st, 2nd floor.

Freakcitycore Runway III is officially a part of Chicago Fashion Week! We will be displaying a variety of deconstructed, brutalism-inspired garments designed by Insidious Studios on October 16th, 2026. This is not just a runway; this is ART. Tickets are available on Eventbrite, the link is in my bio. There will be two phases to this show:

Doors: 8pm
Phase 1: Runway. (8:30-9pm)
Phase 2: Human Gallery. (9pm-10pm)

After Phase 1, the audience is invited to walk around the human gallery like an art museum, each model will be showcased on platforms like mannequins. The viewers will have more time to view each garment and revel in the stitches and embellishments of the Fall 2026 collection. Seven models, seven outfits. Each garment will be hand-sewn and reworked by Insidious, every outfit will be carefully deconstructed, upcycled, and handcrafted with care.

Insidious creates through upcycling and reworking material from the thrift to bring fabrics back to life instead of letting them die in the bins. DFEMT will be spinning industrial techno and hard groove, creating an atmosphere of midnight and deep, underground beats you can feel in your soul. There will be a cash bar available at the event, serving red and white wines throughout the event. Come experience an unforgettable moment in Chicago’s underground fashion scene, a night that won’t be forgotten.

The venue is on the second floor of the Giron Books building. The second floor is accessible by staircase, no elevator in the building. Parking is available along 21st street.

We are elated to announce that the Freakcitycore Runway III is a part of Chicago Fashion Week, the show is this Friday, October 16th. Tickets will be available at the door.

The runway will immerse you in the underground techno scene in Chicago; the sounds from DFEMT will divulge you into a rave-like atmosphere accompanying the beautifully rugged designs presented by Insidious. Phase 1 and Phase 2 indulge in different genres of techno, groove, industrial, and acid. The intense crescendo from Phase 1 fading into Phase 2 will bring you from a state of up-tempo, high energy into the deeper, distant ambient techno experience of the human gallery.

This is not just a runway; this is art.

Come to the most exciting night during Chicago Fashion Week. Insidious Studios will be presenting their archival pieces from 2024 all the way up to their newest fall 2026 collection. Tickets will be sold at the door.

Portraits of Insidious, fashion designer & director for Freakcitycore Runway III.

This runway will showcase Insidious Studios’ archival designs from 2024 along with designs created for the newest fall collection. From screen printed streetwear to rugged, deconstructed and conflated garments, Insidious aims to capture the brutalist structures of the city in textures and distress throughout the fabric. Exposed threads, ripped seams, and unruly chiffon all capture the beautiful imperfections of the underground scene - love, drugs, sex and smog.

Archival designs, the first boot covers and screen printed artisanal pieces will be mixed in with the newest outfits, i.e. the white, flowy “Ketamine Angel”. The collections are all printed, reworked, and sewn by hand. Every stitch will be on display at the Freakcitycore Runway III: HUMAN GALLERY. All of these designs can be seen on the runway during Chicago Fashion Week.

Come experience the once in a lifetime runway and gallery event, a night to remember.
