First video shoot for @official.she.ph ✨

It’s been a few years na naghahanap ako ng Latin Classes but wala akong mahanap, either Standard style or sobrang mahal naman per session. Got sad kasi I realized hindi na sya ganon ka-accessible and as someone who found a sense of belonging sa dance scene through ballroom, I wanted other people na ma-experience yun.

Then this year, that frustration became a mission. Became a rookie coach sa @full_____out teaching Latin Jazz. Grabe yung plot twist! Yung gusto kong ma-experience ng tao, sakin pala manggagaling.

Will always be grateful to Coach @marcdevonnn for believing in us!

in the words of jelo, hindi naman sa pagiging codependent sa inyo (seryoso!) pero love na love ko kayo guys. salamat at dumating kayo sa buhay ko. for the past few months, sobrang lost ko lang in general, but thanks to the friendship and bond we formed beyond our similar love and support for elijah, i am slowly learning and figuring things on my own. salamat at nandiyan kayo, may espesyal na kayong espasyo sa puso ko.

sa anim na taon, akala ko talaga phase lang ‘yung pagkacrush ko kay @elijahcanlas. it was pandemic, i was questioning my sexuality and everyone was bored. akala ko, lilipas din. pero grabe, as i got to know jelo beyond his filmography, mas lalo ako naamaze at mas lalo akong napamahal sa kaniya. when i got to meet him in person and bond with him, kahit saglitan, mas lalo ko siyang na a appreciate at mas lalo nag s sink in sa akin na hindi talaga siya phase! (bonus na ‘yung nagkakasing-amats kami ng niche minsan 😭)

sabi nila, never meet your idols. well, i did meet elijah canlas and i’m glad i did. because if i didn’t, i wouldn’t be where i am today—in the presence of the most amazing people i’d like to keep in my life; jelo himself, included in that narrative.

sa admins ng EN, maraming salamat sa tyaga, effort, oras, at pagsusumikap to keep the fc afloat. kung wala kayo, hindi tayo tatagal ng ganito. mahal na mahal ko kayo, huwag kalimutang huminga, at huwag kayong mahihiyang humingi ng tulong sa amin. kahit tungkol sa kahit ano pa man ‘yan.

sa mga nagmamahal kay jelo; EN man o hindi, salamat sa pagbabahagi ng kwento at pagmamahal sa artistry ni jelo. sana makagawa pa tayo ng mas maraming memories together!
