So many items on the drink menu @insomnibar ranging from vietnamese coffee, matcha, milk tea and seasonal refreshers.

My top 3 favorites:
Biscoff Latte with coffee jelly (perfect balance of biscoff and coffee flavors)
Avocado toast with egg and chili crisp (it had so much avocado and the chili crisp added so much flavor)
Jasmine Milk Tea (super fragrant and a good non diary option)

🅿️ Has a lot of parking spaces
💻 good for working (outlets and wifi available)
🪑 good ambience with indoor and plenty of outdoor seating

Thanks @insomnibar for inviting us!

1st day in the Bay Area and we had to stop by the @insomnibar to get some marinated beverages and brunch goodies. The staff were very nice and accommodating and there was a steady stream of customers coming in and out considering they make their dishes made to order. Very efficient.

First on the list was their drinks.
1. Corn Cream Matcha 🍵 🌽 - Ceremonial matcha, choice of milk & house-made corn sauce with corn cold foam.
2. Biscoff Milk Tea - Black milk tea & house-made cookie butter with Biscoff cold foam.
3. Pandan Honeydew Milk Tea - Honeydew milk tea & house-made pandan jelly.
4. Peachy Mango 🍑 🥭 - Mango-peach refresher with mango jelly & peach bits.

Their food paired well with their beverages and were quite enjoyable. One didn’t overshadow the other and were very complimentary.
1. Honey Garlic Bagel 🥯 was buttery and had nice slight sweetness to it. Stuffed with whipped cream cheese and sectioned aesthetically, it was easy to eat and if you are a cream cheese lover then you can always get a side of extra cream cheese.
2. Japanese Egg Sando w/ ham - the creamy and flavorful egg salad with a hint of pepper and thinly sliced ham all in soft brioche slices.
3. Shrimp Egg Rolls - the shell was crispy and hot, the shrimp 🍤 was cooked right. Dipped in the cilantro jalapeno aioli was great!
4. Fried Cheese Tots - battered and fried mozzarella cheese was also perfect for dipping with the garlic or chipotle aioli.

Insomnibar located in San Jose California @insomnibar

You know that drive from SoCal to Norcal got us hungry. We headed on over to Insomnibar in San Jose. A woman owned coffee, boba and tea lounge. Now when I say damn why don’t you open one in So Cal then that means it was a hit for me. I can see why there’s a crowd coming in and out. There’s something for everyone. Loved the avo toast with the chili crunch and cabbage, and the drinks were made top tier. So when I’m Nor Cal make your way to Insomnibar. Staff were all cool and friendly. Thank you for the hospitality!
