It's Thursday night in New York City.

SCAM, the multilayered, high-intensity electro-pop duo are throwing yellow rubber gloves into the crowd, their glitchy beats filling the tight room.

On the flip side, dance-pop act Inspector Spacetime cause the entire room to vibrate with the impact of the bass against the walls.

The gig is part of Iceland Airwaves' Off-Venue series at this year's Taste of Iceland, a three-day program that gives cities a glimpse into Icelandic culture.
