No words express how excited, as well as nervous I am about this evolution in my fashion journey. In 2001 I began a fashion journey when first thing I sold were knit hats designed my made by my mother. We called the brand Heron to represent her maiden name. I sold college students (in my school) and to a few stores in Shoppers World in Brampton. I was excited, but the dream ended when my mother stopped making the hats. Now the journey didn’t have to end there, however, be it from fear or a lack of knowledge within the industry. I didn’t keep going. Fast forward to 2016 I shock off the fear and jumped in as deep as I thought the pool was launching @inspiredbyfc Fly Crown. I knew one thing, I wanted to standout and I needed to intentional. So Fly Crown stood for First Love Your Crown. After 9 yrs of ups and downs building this brand by myself. I took the opportunity in 2023 while thinking about rebranding to attend fashion seminar @harlemsfashionrow and trips to China to find ways to truly make my brand as I have envisioned it. I’m proud to introduce to you Solomon Spence a brand built by and designed for the #warriorspirit . If you’ve never given up on yourself, your dreams or you have fought to protect those you love and yourself. This brand is for you. Solomon Spence is also Portret a brand curated for the creative spirit and Fly Crown which still embodies the #loveiseasy spirit. I just found a way to perfectly blend them. I pray y’all feel the same way. What spirit represents you? by @inspiredbyfc
