The housing market may be impossible… so I built the only home I can actually afford. 🏡

Meet my edible version of the iconic @Lenox Spice Village: complete with charming curb appeal, questionable structural integrity, and a life expectancy of approximately one dessert course.

Inspired by vintage collectibles, cottagecore dreams, and an unhealthy amount of buttercream, this little house is destined to become crumbs and honestly, that’s the happiest ending a house could ask for.

Part 2 is up!

✔️ Follow along for more tablescape inspiration, hosting, and summer entertaining ideas!

Part 2 of my edible real estate journey: the renovation phase. 🎨🏡

This is where my edible version of the iconic @Lenox Spice Village finally came to life one painted window, brick detail, and pastel door at a time.

Made with an unreasonable amount of buttercream, my favorite @kingarthurbaking flour, and a little help from @nordicwareusa gingerbread house pan (the true architect behind the top floor and roof).

Somewhere between mixing paint colors and adding the tiniest details, I became emotionally attached to this little house.

Would you save it forever or grab a fork?

Hello, October. 🍂📖🌹

My favorite month has arrived — and a particularly special one, as today is my baby girl’s birthday. 🎊

There’s just something about October… the cozy days, the changing seasons, old books, dried roses, and all the little things that make home feel especially inviting.✨

Wishing you all a beautiful, cozy, and wonderful month of October. 🤎

Early autumn, but make it a little unexpected. 🌸🍂

Thrifted vintage Lenox china, lavender florals, muted pink roses, a floral tablecloth, and glass pumpkins glowing with tiny twinkle lights. ✨

A fall table doesn’t always have to be orange and rust. Sometimes the prettiest version is the one that takes the scenic route. 💝🍂

A little chicken wire, a few magnolia leaves, three pumpkins—and suddenly, autumn has entered the room. 🍂

Proof that a beautiful centerpiece doesn’t have to be complicated. Swap in whatever greenery and pumpkins you have on hand, and let the simplicity do the work.

Quick to make. Big on impact. ✨

A house should sing. ✨🍂

I’ve always believed a home is a living, breathing, emotional place. And every room deserves its own little moment of drama.

In autumn, mine usually begins at the table. A little more color, a little more texture, something unexpected and a setting that changes with every gathering, from the first signs of fall to Thanksgiving and all the beautiful moments in between.

Because setting the table has never just been about the table. It’s about creating a feeling people remember long after they’ve gone home. 🤎

A little ode to the last golden days of summer. 🌼💛

Daisies spilling across the table, butter-yellow linens tied with the sweetest floral trim, bamboo flatware, garden flowers + tiny daisy details tucked into every corner.

There’s something about this time of year that makes me want to linger a little longer. To set the table just because, pour something sunny, invite everyone to stay awhile + refuse to rush into the next season quite yet.

Fall will have its moment. For now, I’m keeping the daisies on the table. 🌼

Save this one for one last summer gathering.
