So what exactly is an online showcase?

Think of it as a front-row seat to a destination, from the comfort of your own lounge room. We run them almost every week, with several across the month, and a few that even go for a full day!

Each one is your chance to get to know a place properly, ask your questions as you go, and get a real feel for what travelling there is actually like.

And here’s the part our travellers love most. 👇

More often than not, the person hosting has just stepped off the plane from the very destination they’re talking about. So when they describe the morning light over the temples or point you to the best little spot for lunch, it isn’t coming from a brochure. It’s first-hand, fresh, and very well earned.

Today at the Valley of the Kings, Elena from Inspiring Vacations had a chat with her about the years of study it took to become an Egyptologist.

And the study never really stops.

In Kittilä, Finnish Lapland, the reindeer outnumber the people two to one.

Around 12,000 reindeer. About half that many humans.

In summer they roam the forests, the roadsides and the odd hotel car park, turning up mid-morning like they've been invited.

Come winter, the same reindeer are standing in the snow under a sky doing something extraordinary.

It's one of the more remarkable corners of the world, and the reindeer are honestly just the opening act.

We take travellers right up into this pocket of the Arctic, with a local expert guide, transfers sorted and small groups so nobody's herded anywhere (unlike the reindeer). 🦌
