Korea Day 8 - 02.12.2026

~ Turns out the heritage building we saw the projection on on day 3 was the Gyeongbkgung Palace, the largest palace of the country!
~ Long walk on the palace grounds, many beautiful buildings, including the one where the Korean alphabet was created.
~ Bukchon Hanok Village: one of the few remaining areas in central Seoul with old traditional houses (people actually live in them so access is only allowed before 5pm!)
~ N Seoul Tower, sitting at the top of a hill, the top floor is at 480m above sea level!
~ More New Year wishes!

And we're going home tomorrow, back to real life soon! :) taken in Seoul, South Korea by @insta.matth

Korea Day 7 - 01.01.2026

~ Eunpyeong Hanok Village with @_mildpp
~ Cute tea house & 300 years old wild tea tree brew
~ Yet another Korean BBQ and definitely not getting bored of it!
~ Starfield Library & more Christmas wishes
~ Mandatory stop at the Gangnam Style sculpture - crazy, that song is already 10 years old 😅
~ More funky sculptures
~ Early night today, only one more day before we're going back to Thailand (and getting away from this cold!) by @insta.matth

Korea Day 6 - 31.12.2025

~ Lots of New Year wishes
~ Myeongdong Cathedral
~ Busy streets of Myeongdong & a bunch of funky shops
~ Quick stop at the cat café
~ Amazing last meal of 2025
~ Countdown rehearsal at Lotte World Tower
~ Another crazy video projection at DDP Building
~ First -and last- K-Pop concert
~ Pretty sad (but fun) last drink of the year
~ Actual countdown at DDP Building where we've been standing for nearly two hours in -10°c. 00:02, we're going home, it's way too cold 😂

Korea Day 4 - 29.12.2025

~ 2.5km walk to Cheongpyeongsa Temple which was built in 973 (no, I'm not missing a 1 there, it IS over 1,000 years old!)
~ Beautiful natural landscapes and stunning colorful buildings
~ Added our stones to the cairns
~ 9 herbs, nuts and spices medicinal tea
~ Sauna session to clear some of the many different Soju we drank
~ More amazing grilled beef, some super fresh uni - and more Soju

Korea Day 3 - 28.12.2025

~ Trip to Nami Island: a little piece of land surrounded by the Han River
~ Lots of weird monsters statues
~ Wood fire Steam buns
~ More weird statues
~ Nami Island has proclaimed they cultural independence a while back so they even have their own currency
~ Having fun and eating more food (drinking more Soju too!)
~ Eobi Valley and it's beautiful (man-made) frozen waterfall

It's getting a bit warmer too, we can now stick to three layers of clothes only 😂 taken in Nami Island by @insta.matth

Korea Day 2 - 27.12.2025

~ Snowboard day at Vivaldi Ski Resort
~ First time ever for @mimiyanisaa and she did her first backflip - almost !
~ Back on a board after 9 years for me and I didn't break any bone: big achievement!
- Amazing Korean BBQ with black pig and Hanwoo beef - apparently the best breed in Korea!
~ Whisky tasting at a musky basement-bar
~ Mimi not happy because her food came late (it never came, she cancelled after waiting too long 😂)

Korea Day 1 - 26.12.2025

~ 48 degrees drop in 6 hours - from 32 in Bangkok to -16 in Seoul - we're freezing!
~ Drove 3 hours to Chuncheon
~ Pandae Ice Valley, frozen waterfall and crazy bare chest dude filming content >.<'
~ First dinner at 1.5 Dakgalbi - 40 minutes wait in the cold but it was worth it!
~ Soju, Makgeolli and another one I can't remember: done!
