I’m going to be super honest here for a second. This year has been hard. We have been praying for community + missing the people we love in Florida so so much. But God has us in this season of quiet + I honestly felt like something was wrong with me. Why haven’t I found the community I had back home? Not to mention, my business has been dead since moving here. It’s been hard…

Then I realized it. God called us here for a reason. I believe he wants to strengthen our family + to strengthen our faith. When life is filled with so much business, whether that’s church groups, serving, activities with friends, or work - we forget that we are missing out on time together + time with the Lord. He has forced us to slow down. I didn’t realize it until now. So, now it’s time to be obedient to Him. Spend time together, REAL time, make memories, look up from our phones, go on adventures.

So yesterday, we went for a little adventure in our neighborhood. Picking flowers, looking at animal foot prints, checking out the cows + donkeys, just being present together. I realized I never take photos of my actual family anymore, so I did just that.

If business or friendships comes my way, I know that’s from the Lord. If it doesn’t, then I know he wants me to continue this break.

It’s not easy, but I know that He has the best plans for us 🩵

All 10 puppies from our second liter have found their forever homes 🤎 Including this sweet girl, Maple 🥰 She decided that her favorite human is Jared + you couldn’t pry her away from him if you tried. She figured out early on how to get out of the puppy pen + would follow Jared around wherever he went. She’s earned her spot. Welcome to the family Mapie girl 💗 by @insta__kam

Thank you Jesus, for 9 years of being married to this man. I could not picture a better spouse who always reminds me to turn back to You. Thank you Jesus, for the incredible daddy he is to our sweet babies. Thank you Jesus, for letting a girl like me, be loved by someone like him. A couple of weeks ago, Briella expressed to me how she had been masking her hand flapping at school because she was feeling embarrassed about it. I was so proud of her for opening up to me about how she was feeling. She decided she wanted to tell her classmates about being autistic + share with them about her stimming. I partnered with her teacher + today, Briella presented this video we made together. They also read a book about Autism + got to ask Briella questions. She said her classmates were so kind + understanding. She is so happy + feeling so relieved + encouraged. I am filled with so much gratitude that my sweet girl is so much braver that I ever was. Growing up I was always so scared to be myself. I didn’t come out of my shell until I was much much older. I love that she isn’t scared to be herself. I love her so so much. ♥️ by @insta__kam

So proud of our little volleyball player! We woke up early and practiced! Of course little brother and little sister wanted to join. They were both actually really good 😆 They must get their athletic genes from their dad LOL. If you played marriage group volleyball with us and are wondering why I’m giving volleyball advice to my kid, just know I’m trying my best okay 🤪 To say I am proud of her would be an understatement. She is far braver than I ever was. I love that she steps out of her comfort zone and gives it her all. I love you boogie and will try to remember not to scream “Go Booger!” at practice again 🥴 by @insta__kam

My baby turned 8 this weekend 🥹 It’s so bittersweet how fast time goes by. I love watching the incredible person she is becoming. She makes me so proud every single day. She wanted to celebrate by going to the water park with her two besties. Her Wawa came to visit for the weekend to celebrate with her. We went bowling + played some arcade games. The enemy has been coming after me / our family but there was nothing that was going to stop me from celebrating my sweet pea. Not a migraine attack that sent me to the urgent care, not even a massive fire 😵‍💫 Gods got our back! Happy birthday my boogie ♥️ by @insta__kam

Happy 1st heavenly birthday to our sweet Khloe 🪽 How we miss you tiny girl. We should we celebrating your 13th birthday today, with many more ahead (you were SO full of life!) but instead you were tragically taken from us 2 months ago. I miss your little tip taps on the floor + whenever it’s thunderstormed, I know you would have been crying at my bedside for me to pick you up so you could sleep next to my head. I was hoping that Ziti would go into labor today + her puppies would share a birthday with you, but I now realize this day is sacred to you my little princess. I hope you’re loving it up there in puppy heaven with Hayden + Rhett, your very best friends. We miss you here 🌈 by @insta__kam

I married a “I can do that” kind of man + thank God for that! When we (+ half of our neighborhood) got screwed over by the same fence “company” - my husband said, you know what? I can do it. So he’s been out there, every day for the last week, on the hottest days of this Texas summer, fencing in our 1.5 acre home. I’m so blessed I married a doer. Today at church, our pastor preached on not moaning and groaning. My husband set that example for us. He got up + took it head on instead of complaining. We had so much fun this World Cup season! Even though Brasil 🇧🇷 didn’t get the Hexa, we thoroughly enjoyed every game, even if it seemed that EVERY. SINGLE. TEAM we rooted for lost 😅 At the end though, thankfully Spain pulled through + kicked butt for us. The Brazilian crew didn’t have to suffer through another Argentinian win (cheaters 😆) Lucca is officially obsessed with futebol. In true Brasiliero fashion, he despises the Argentinian futebol team 😆🤪 (it’s genetic) Going back to normal life after the cup is always the hardest 😭 by @insta__kam
