What a journey 💙💛

An amazing 2 years comes to an end!
.
I’ve made the difficult decision to step away from coaching at Williamstown.
.
So many proud moments, and to be a part of so many “firsts” for the women’s program is incredibly special.
.
✅ First ever minor premiership
✅ First ever finals win
✅ First ever preliminary final
✅ Back-to-back finals campaigns
✅ Back-to-back #1 D50 Defense in the VFLW
.
A huge thank you to all the staff, players and volunteers for all of your hard work and support.
.
A special thank you to @leo__cav for giving me the opportunity to learn, grow and develop as a coach and as a person. One of the best people in women’s footy.
.
A massive thank you to my backs girls, and my coaching partner in crime @rhys.dupas - the league’s greatest backline.
.
I coach because I love helping people become better, and to achieve their own goals. If that’s the measure of my success - then hand on heart I can say no stone was left unturned.

Excited for the opportunities coming up - but a sad day knowing I am saying goodbye to a wonderful group of people.

Been a pretty terrible couple of weeks, and I’ve had to work hard to see the silver lining - but, I think I got there in the end ⛅️
.
I’ve had great support from my partner, my family, my colleagues and friends ❤️‍🩹
.
When you’re healthy, you’ve got a thousand problems. When you’re sick, you’ve got one ☝🏻
.
Been a big year already - teaching, leadership and coaching at Haileybury, coaching at Williamstown, and continuing to work as a Sessional Academic at the University of Canberra (as well as trying to fit in all of the other elements of life) 🗣️
.
A mini re-set of sorts. Time to lock back in 🔐
.
You never know what’s around the corner, and fair to say I didn’t see this coming. Thank you to everyone who’s in my corner 🙏
