25 years.

It’s strange to think that much time has passed since September 11, 2001. I remember exactly where I was, what I was doing, and the feeling that the world had suddenly changed forever.

But what hits differently now is thinking about everything that has happened since.

I’ve grown older. I became a husband. I became a dad. I’ve watched my kids grow up, celebrated birthdays, holidays, graduations, first jobs, family vacations, and all the little everyday moments that somehow become the big moments when you look back.

And I can’t help but think about all the people who lost the chance to experience any of that.

That’s what September 11th means to me 25 years later. It’s a reminder of how fragile life is, how quickly everything can change, and how precious these ordinary days with the people we love really are.

So today, I’ll hug my family a little tighter and be grateful for all the moments I’ve been lucky enough to have.

For the lives cut short, the families forever changed, and the futures that never got to unfold, you are not forgotten.
