It's so dry in Georgia. (How dry is it?!) It's so dry that the palmetto we "killed," that grew RIGHT back, is singed currently. When the devil came to Georgia, this may be the soul he stole!

Today Anna Murphy is 17 months old and attended her first gymnastics class. Parent and Tot gymnastics at Thomasville YMCA is a hit!!! We're looking forward to watching Anna learn and get some of her boundless energy spent every week! by @instamaygin

As of 10:45PM last Tuesday, Rick and I are the parents of a one year old! Anna Murphy enjoyed a busy-baby week celebrating her first year. Gaga Linda Thomas came to visit and spent all her time showering the birthday girl with love and attention during our work days. We had a micro "practice" party at home with a cupcake on her birthday and festivities culminated Saturday with the (official) sweet party thrown by her Aunt Kayla, Anna, and LoLo Lorry!

Anna Murphy is now a true toddler, walking longer distances more confidently and quickly every day. She has 8 teeth. She speaks some words clearly, still mimicks a lot of words/sounds, and seems to make lengthy declarations in a language that hasn't quite been tuned to the adult ear yet. She's active and energetic, driven and independent, but balances it with cuddles and her absolute sweetness...and she's definitely still Daddy's girl.

We thank God for her happy and healthy(!) first year, and look forward to all her adventures and our memory-making in the year to come! by @instamaygin
