HAPPY ANNIVERSARY NYC! 26 years ago today I moved to NYC and I can think of some iconic movie lines on how I am still here and the gravitational pull this magical city has on me:

“Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in”

“You had me at HELLO”

I always say living here is like the golden hand cuffs as it’s hard to leave a place that has the energy, spirit, drive and heart of the Big Apple. All these years later I still know it’s been an absolute privilege, dream and unbelievable f-ing ride to call you home. You have always been my safety, my sanity and my shelter. Thank you NYC for my being my constant, my cheerleader and my BEST FRIEND…to you and me kid and the continued adventure ❤️❤️❤️❤️ taken in New York City by @instamuffs

9/11-25 years ago today. I had just moved to NYC the year before and was working on West 42nd Street. I will never forget from the office’s roof we saw that the first plane had flown into the WTC. And then when watched the second plane we knew our country was under attack…and that the world was forever changed.

I don’t think I have or will ever truly process and digest that day and the tremendous loss and unimaginable tragedy. But what I do clearly remember is the absolute endurance, resilience, strength and spirit of NYC. This great city and community coming together in astounding unparalleled heroism, help and humanity.

Third/last leg: WELCOME TO ST TROPEZ!😜
Had been many summers but hadn’t been in 10 years so was happy to be back!
The beaches, the music, the spots, the people, the shopping…it really is all around CHIC French summer vibes and brought back many memories!

First leg: PARIS AND LONDON…my twin cities!! Two of my favorite places that I am lucky to visit often. After so many trips to both I have my bearings, my faves, my spots, my people and they truly feel like second European homes.

And the weather gods were on my side missed the heat wave and no rain-only sunny blue skies!
