Some impressions from Racoco’s (1st!) Festival of Things! We wrap up on Sunday, but you have five more chances to see what we’re up to...

This weekend, May 9 and 10 the company will perform two chapters of the Assemblage Project, which conjures memories of our families from objects they’ve left behind: “My Mother’s Eyes” and “My Grandfather’s Nose”.

More info here: www.racoco.org/events-news
RSVP at info@racoco.org

THIS coming SUNDAY, April 26, to kick off events, @racocosolo is teaching workshops in Action Theater and Improvisation with Things.
Then our “Labatelier” is open to visitors while Rachel and the rest of the company prepare for...

Un Poco Racoco - The Festival of Things:
May 2, 3, 9, and 10 - two weekends of studio performances, with live music, inside an installation with multiple Thing-related activities.
Bring your own things! (we have plenty if you don’t). Learn their secrets; apologize and fix things that are broken, or make peace with them and let them go; learn to love an object you dislike but are required to keep; say goodbye to something you love but have to set free.

Or, just come by and see some art.

Celebrate the things that make us human!
Do you have a broken object you’ve been planning to fix for more than five years?
Is there an object in your home that makes you sad whenever you see it?
Is there something you’ve been keeping because it might be useful one day?
If you answered “yes” to any of these questions, now is that day.

JOIN RACOCO at the LABATELIER for

Inanimated Speed Dating - Get to know a Thing or two

Make-your-own Object Drama - with objects from our collection, or bring something from home

The Relinquish Booth - bring an item you no longer need or want, say goodbye, and take home a commemorative video or photo

The Antiques Racocoshow - Share a story about an object or we can make one up for you! We appraise sentimental value.

Swap Meet - Bring an object, take an object!

And see Racoco rehearsals, experiments, and improvisations
