First home game for 3XV is a fact, and what a game it was! 🤝

With a huge score of 77-5 in our favor and lots of young dogs making their first minutes (and tries!) for Ascrum, we move on to the next game. Enjoy the great shots by @kevinscottnl 🦄

The colours of Ascrum. 🔴

ASRV Ascrum is known for their traditional red, black and white hoops. Think of Ascrum, think of the classic jersey they have been wearing since 1962.

After founding Ascrum in november 1962, Dr E. Kits van Waveren made his way to England to order classic rugby jerseys. In no time Ascrum was the best dressed rugby association in the Netherlands.

The colours took some time to figure out, but the obvious choice was Red and White, referring to the colours of the A.S.C (Amsterdams Studenten Corps). Black was the easier colour, as most students wore black shorts and blazers from previous sports. So the colours of Ascrum were created.

We have been wearing them eversince. They built our association, and together with the badge on our chest it is something we fight for every game. It is our pride and core of our Ascrum. 🦄

A day for the books! 🦄

A week ago 2XV and AA kicked off their competition in an all Ascrum game. With all their experience the AA got the nudge and took the points “home”. Up the seconds. Iron sharpens iron. ⚔️🏉
