Aurora Evans tells us about her favourite new accessory on the kit. Cymbits use B20 O-Zone cutouts to add controlled sizzle, shorten sustain, or introduce a trashy jingle effect across cymbals or drums. by @instaurora

🖼️The year is roughly 1965. My Great Grandma Jones finds this dresser on the curb to gift to my Nana and Grandfather for their first apartment. For a personal touch, they added some paint. Fast forward to 1992. I am born. It is mine now. My father added some paint. Fast forward to 2020. I’ve now added my own colour of paint. 2025 is now here. And I’ve decided to start it from scratch.

I stripped this 60+ y/o dresser and sanded it down, removed the old wheels, stained, oiled/waxed, then added new knobs. If I’ve learned anything, it’s that this likely won’t be an on going hobby for me. That was hard.
