Do you remember what you trained on this day last year? 👀

If you can’t, you’re not alone. Most gym goers in Nigeria train hard, but they don’t track, plan or follow a structure. That’s how small pains turn into serious injuries.

I know because it happened to me. I was a jumper for Team Rivers and a hurdler for Team Lagos. I trained with a Baker’s cyst on my left leg for over 18 months until I had to stop jumping. Then my team doctor told me something I’ll never forget. I started learning, and within 3 to 4 months I had corrected my injuries.

My prediction: by 2035, 1 in 2 gym goers in Nigeria will be dealing with 3 to 4 major training injuries. I don’t want you to be one of them.

That’s why I built Savage, a discipline-first fitness app for consistency, accountability and proper workout structure.

Now I want you to try it with me. 👇

🔥 My FREE 14-day challenge:
✅ Daily workouts
✅ Daily check-ins
✅ Streaks to keep you consistent
✅ A meal plan

After 5 years and 6 months of working with @ifitnessng everyone has asked the ultimate question “WHAT IS THE WAY FORWARD DEVON?”

At some point I didn’t have response.
When I resigned one of my colleagues said I’m mxd.
My clients were not happy, but I was burnt out. Everyone keeps saying you’re doing well here Dev. Why are you leaving? This is what anyone out there is praying for. Yes I agree but… I just have bigger dreams.

I knew it’s time to move unto the next level but I wasn’t ready.
I knew it’s time to pursue my dreams and not just focus on money. So June 2024. I left!

It’s been 18 months already and I’m confident to say now I’m ready. It took us about 15 months to be sure where we wanna be and how we plan to get there.

So dear friends, loved ones and family I am ready for the next phase and I’m excited to tell you about it.

Work is in progress but we can’t keep building if you don’t know about it.

The next phase would require your support and prayer 🙏🏿
I am calling on everyone who sees this, please when we knock on your door, please open 🙏🏿

In all I’m grateful for the people God put in my life who stood by me during this times, when I was broke, when I doubted myself, when I had no food, when I needed to hear the right things, when the idea got twisted, when I was sick, when I needed money.

I am also grateful for the gift of life, the birth of a revolutionary idea, & the grace and strength to attract it.

Idowu-James Devon.

Shalom! 🦅

Everybody knows what to do.

Workout.
Eat better.
Sleep properly.
Be consistent.

But real life enters the chat.

Work stress.
Traffic.
Low motivation.
Bad days.
Inconsistency.

That’s the real problem.

Not lack of information.

That’s what I’m building Savage App around.

Still early.
Still building.

If you’re rooting for us, Ws in the chat 😅

Your office lunch is the reason the scale is not moving.

Think about it. Someone else chooses your portion. The oil is heavy, the plate is big, and the small or “light” options at work are either tiny or expensive. So you eat what is in front of you and call it a diet.

You can pack your own food. But then you have to plan it, cook it, count it and decide what to carry every morning. That is where most people quit by Wednesday.

So I removed the guesswork.

The 14 Day Nigerian Meal Plan for Weight Loss gives you your lunch, plus breakfast and dinner. Real Nigerian food (yes, there is garri), with calories already done for you.

Inside you get:
✅ Daily meals and recipes
✅ Grocery list with Naira prices
✅ Swaps page
✅ Owambe and eating out guide
✅ Workout plan
✅ Daily and weekly trackers
✅ WhatsApp community access

Pack it Sunday. Eat it Monday. No more guessing what to eat at work.

₦30,000, one time. 7 day money back guarantee, so the risk is on me, not you.

Comment PLAN or tap the link in bio and start your 14 days today.

Save this for the next time your office lunch ruins your week, and send it to the colleague who eats the same heavy plate every day. 😅

How one Owambe can undo 5 days of discipline.

If you know, you know.

You starve all morning.
You collect 3 extra plates “for later”.
You say yes to every small chops tray.
You drink 2 malt, 1 Coke, 0 water.
You get home with 3 takeaway packs and eat them by 10pm.

Monday: bloated.
Tuesday: tired.
Wednesday: gym feels like punishment.

Owambe is fine. Owambe without a plan is the problem.

I stopped telling my clients to skip owambe. That’s not realistic in Lagos.

Instead we use the Owambe Rule:

1. Eat before you go. Not heavy. Boiled egg + fruit + water. So you arrive in control, not starving.

2. Decide your plate before you arrive. 1 plate, protein first, then carbs. Extra plates = tomorrow’s problem.

3. Water between drinks. 1 malt/soda = 1 water. Your bloat will thank you.

4. One tray rule for small chops. Pick 1 favourite. Not 10 puff puff.

5. Have an exit plan. Water + 10 min walk when you get home. No late-night takeaway binge.

This is exactly why I added an Owambe Guide inside my 14 Days WeightLoss Meal Plan. So you can enjoy Jollof on Saturday and still see progress on Monday.

No more starting over every Monday.

Eba, Jollof, Indomie, Agege Bread, Dodo — none of them is the reason weight loss feels hard.
It’s HOW you eat them.

Swipe to see the simple fix for each one. Same foods, smarter portions.
