Year 2 started with the « Eroica ». No pressure. 🔥
Two orchestras on one stage, side by side with the musicians of @insulaorchestra. In between: sectionals in every room of @laseinemusicale, a trip to Bourges, a day off in Paris, a detour via Versailles… and two days of recording for the next Beethoven Extended album and our special 360 project with alcov.
One of the concerts was also filmed: stay tuned for its broadcast on @mezzo.tv and medici.tv!

[NEW] As a young pianist himself, @sunwook.kim_official used to consider Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 1 “a mechanical C major showpiece full of scales.” Watch now how the seasoned pianist injects delicacy and charm into its “wit, subito turns, [and] long breathed lines”, with @laurenceequilbey and a double orchestra made up of two of her own ensembles, @insulorchestra and @insulacamerata.
