Incredible way to kick off the 2026 NBA season! 🏀🔥

I had the honor of representing @opulenceinsurancegroup alongside our associate @shanekearney71 as the Official Game Ball presenters for the @miamiheat’s first home game of the 2026 season!

Being able to step onto the court and present the official game ball before tip-off was something I had never experienced before. To share that moment with Shane and have some of our clients right there on the court, made truly awesome.

A huge thank you to the entire Miami HEAT organization for this incredible opportunity and for making it such a memorable experience.

As someone who has built a business around protecting professional athletes and their futures, moments like these are a reminder of how fortunate I am to do what I love.

Excited for another #NBA season, supporting our clients both on and off the court!

I had a 15-minute meeting with Steve Ballmer.

Well… not exactly.

I saw the former CEO of @microsoft, owner of the @laclippers and the 14th wealthiest person in the world, working out next to me at the gym.

Did we have a meeting scheduled? Not technically

Did I have a warm introduction? I did not.

I simply waited until he finished, walked over, introduced myself, and took my shot.

Worst case scenario? He tells me he’s busy and to go fly a kite.

Instead, he gave me 15 minutes.

We talked about my immigration to America, the business I’ve built with @opulenceinsurancegroup and the business I’m still trying to build. We talked about sports, entrepreneurship, and what it takes to keep growing.

As the conversation started flowing, I figured I had nothing to lose. So I shot another shot - the shot I wanted to shoot the whole time but I had to feel it out.

I shared my vision of working with the Clippers organization, helping insure the player contracts they commit hundreds of millions of dollars to through my insurance solutions.

Did I expect him to say “yes” right there? Of course not.

But that’s wasn’t the point.

The seed has been planted. 🪴

One thing I’ve learned in business is this:

Doors won’t open themselves. Sometimes you have to knock but most of the times … you have to break the door down.

You’ll hear “no” far less often than you think.

The opportunities that change your life usually start with one conversation.

$3,000,000. Tax-Free.

This wasn’t a new contract. This wasn’t a signing bonus. This was a disability insurance payout.

My client tore his Achilles and as a result of the injury, did not receive the contract he was expected to sign. 💰 ❌

When my client got hurt, my job didn’t end. In many ways, it had just begun. I worked alongside him throughout the entire claims process, helping navigate the paperwork, coordinating with the carrier and ensuring every step was handled correctly.

The result: a 100% claim payout. 🙌🏻

You never want to see an athlete suffer a serious injury. But when it happens, the right coverage - combined with proper guidance throughout the claims process, can protect years of hard work and provide financial security when it’s needed most.

The contracts earned on the field and the marketing dollars generated off the field have become far too significant not to have the proper protection in place.

It’s an incredible honor to be named a finalist by Risk & Insurance Magazine in the ‘Specialty Risk’ category.

Seven years ago, I started this company from absolute zero. Back then, I could only dream of one day being mentioned alongside industry leaders like AON, Brown & Brown, IOA, and Marsh - 100 year old, publicly traded, multi-billion-dollar insurance brokerage firms that have shaped this industry for generations.

To now be recognized in the same category as some of the largest and most respected brokerage firms in the world is truly humbling.

First and foremost, thank you to every client, partner, carrier, and friend who has trusted us along the way. Without you, none of this would be possible.
