Introducing AfriBix Bookmarks, a quiet companion for your pages. I designed these to capture the beauty of the ocean, part of our Oshimiri collection.

Each bookmark is hand-poured, preserving real shells and fragments of the shore beneath a sea of translucent blue.

A moment of calm you can hold.

The people that leave the biggest footprints in the sand never purposed to be the popular or the greatest people that ever lived. THEY JUST DID.

They DID their best. They DID what needed to be done. They just DID.

Onyeka Onwenu... You came, you saw, you conquered, YOU DID.

Reading your book on ‘Humans Reading Books’ gave us a priceless opportunity to see you in lights that many didn’t.

Thank you for sharing your life with us. Thank you for living in your truth, come rain come shine.

Thank you for sharing your life with us all.

You will be greatly missed.

To say I’m looking forward to this read would be an understatement, this book has been on our list for a while and I only just visited the Authors IG last week and was like okay *moves to top of the list*

We start The Death of Vivek Oji by Akwaeke Emezi @yungdeadthing today. Have you read this book, have you read her other books or listened to her songs? I need all the tea ☕️

Meet Stella Damasus @stelladamasus the amazing author of Màmá it’s a girl. In her words this book is “a call to action” & after reading it, we couldn’t agree more.

Thanks again Stella for joining our book club last week.

Here’s to all the friends we’ve had to say goodbye to since our last post. Forgive me for not sharing your stories on here, life has been lifing 😅.

We’ve read some amazing books and also met a contender for worse read 😂😅🤣 don’t ask lol, hint - born a Queen pin… that’s all I’m saying on that matter.

I’m back on the gram for a bit and I’m excited to share our new friends. Our next book is EXCITING, I’ve heard sooooo much about it from @chiomabbb and I had to fight my fomo urge not to read it ahead of our book club.

We start MÀMÁ IT’S A GIRL by Stella Damasus this Monday 19 February at 3pm GMT on clubhouse. I have a surprise to share in our next post so watch this space and turn on post notifications.

I enjoying our book reading journey, just when you think you’ve gotten used to a certain type of book another steals your heart.

I love how being in a book club forces me to step out of my comfort zone when it comes to literature.

Have you read any of these? What books would you like to put on our reading list?

I’m eternally grateful for my tribe, this video is dedicated to 📚 Humans Reading Books 📚 @interact4future who listen to my ted talk (rants) every day and still make me feel like I make a lot of sense 😂🤣😅. I wouldn’t trade y’all for that $100,000,000 … or would I 😂.

✨ Share this video with your tribe, great friends are priceless ✨

Who are we?
📚Humans Reading Books📚

A virtual book club hosted on Clubhouse where we meet every Monday to Friday at 15:00 GMT for an hour of reading.

We then discuss our thoughts on the reading material and move on to an after-party where we have engaging conversations on any and everything #respectfully.

One of the best things about this club is that you can expect to make genuine connections with like-minded individuals and have legendary conversations. We also organize fun in-person socials occasionally.

If you're a book lover looking for an exciting community to be a part of, this is definitely the place to be.
