The Vintage Graflex 2-Cell conversion is complete! This was a very interesting and rewarding build (we don’t talk about removing the bunny ear rivet).

This saber is rocking a Proffie 2.2 hidden by a magnetized cover, kill switch, removable 18650 battery, real quartz crystal, 2x 10-LED strips, a 20-LED pixel ring, @krsabers NPXL V4 ECO blade connector, and a fully enclosed 28mm @smugglers_outpost elite dark side speaker. Copper and aluminum tubing carry the wires from the speaker pod to the main chassis. This thing sounds dang good for a Graflex with no visible sound venting!

The customer wanted to convert the slide switch to a tactile switch, so the button is actuated via magnets adhered to the bottom of the slide switch. The original brass pins, sync contacts, and glass eye thumbscrew were trimmed and shaped to fit the 1” blade holder.

These @thesaberbay Clone-A-Phobe hilts are each installed with a @jimmys_saber_junk chassis, containing a Proffie v2/v3, removable 18650 battery, kill switch, 22mm speakers, Shtok V4 NPXL connectors, and crystal chambers. They are each sporting 2 duplicate Pong Krell fonts but with either green or blue blade styles.

Finally getting around to posting the final weathering on the emitter of my K4V2! Not 100% accurate by any means but a big upgrade to the chrome emitter it shipped with (last slide). Photos are tough to capture for it since the color changes in different lighting.

The process involved roughing up and gouging the surface with a Dremel and taking some whacks at it with a hammer. Then I alternated between coats of gray paint and more abrasion with the rotary tool to pull off some paint to give it a layered look. Lastly, I used a mostly-dry paintbrush with brown, silver, and black paints to add some color depth to wrap up the process.

I just wrapped up some accuracy mods for the @shadowfoilprops Luke VeeTwo! I grabbed a new b-grade clamp card with the silver solder lines from @skywampa and added some screen-accurate scratches to the pommel cubes. It’s the details that count 😎

Finally getting around to showing this guy off. This is my personal @shadowfoilprops and @korbanthsabers Luke VeeTwo saber with a custom removable chassis. Installed with a Proffie 2.2, this saber includes two lit crystals, a 10 pixel accent LED strip behind a magnetic cover, kill switch, 2 tactile buttons, 18650 battery, and a 28mm Smuggler’s Outpost Elite Speaker.

This is an excellent saber kit made entirely of steel, with an awesome cutaway grenade section to view the crystal chamber in the hilt.
