We had a great time during our Lunch & Learn with George Taylor from J&J Flooring! We learned all about Kinetex carpet, including its unique construction, performance benefits, sustainability features, and the many possibilities it offers for commercial interior design. It was a great opportunity for our students to learn more about flooring materials and how to thoughtfully select products for real world design applications.

A big thank you to George for sharing your expertise with us and for providing lunch for our students and faculty! We truly appreciate your time, generosity, and support of our interior design program! @jjflooringgroup by @interior_design_mc

Our junior interior design students recently had the opportunity to visit Salus Market as part of their research for the coffee shop project in ART 371 Interior Design III. Owner Robby Followell graciously welcomed us into the space on their day off and shared his journey as a business owner, his vision for Salus Market, and the experiences that shaped the space.

Sarah Rose Peacock from Melani Bryant Interiors also joined us to discuss design decisions that went into the project, including space planning, material selections, and creating a functional and welcoming environment.

Salus Market is a wonderful example of how thoughtful design can create a meaningful space for the community. We are grateful to Robby and Sarah Rose for taking the time to share their knowledge and experience with our students and for giving us such a valuable behind-the-scenes look at this special space. @rfollowell @salusmarket by @interior_design_mc

Sara Magee, Artopex Workplace Student Project Winner, did an exceptional job presenting her project to a panel of Artopex Representatives at their beautiful showroom in Montreal! We are so proud of her and Keeley Gibbs, 1st Runner Up! Sara, Keeley, Mrs. Berdami, and Mrs. Redditt have enjoyed touring Artopex facilities and exploring Montreal.
