If your chakras are misaligned and your energy blocked…come inside: Refik Anadol’s mind-blowing RainForest Paradise exhibit in the Arts District DTLA. All mental receptors open, negativity vanquished and all possibilities full-steam ahead. Thank you Refik for your beautiful mind and showing the world that your work isn’t Artificial at all. Intentionally, created from actual data, photography & sounds of Nature. I think at the “last hour”, I’d hope my eyes, ears and heart would be filled with images such as these as I climb the grand staircase to the final artistic crescendo. Thank you for this magnificence on a scale that is almost impossible to truly grasp. @refikanadol taken in Arts District, Los Angeles by @interiordesigngroupla

Reface or Replace: the existing kitchen cabinetry? The big and popular question. Through a digitized mock-up the client can now see exactly the difference. Though we plan to completely reconfigure the cabinetry layout & kitchen footprint, the client can get a better sense of the finished aesthetic & layout possibilities. Is there anything cooler than redesigning spaces and gaining more real estate without having to “add-on”? The suite of high-tech, state-of-the-art appliances will be in an upcoming post. This kitchen will have features, bells, whistles and a host of fantastic culinary accoutrement to make “going out” an absolute inconvenience. ⭐️💃🕺😎🌹🍅🌶️ 🥂 🤪😻

The Maslan Estate Encino, one of the funnest & coolest projects we had, during the “covid period”. Absolutely loved this incredible home and its many renditions- masterfully crafted it became one of the grandest and most “architecturally exceptional” homes up in the Chaplin Estates. This gorgeous black chair is one of two we had reproduced to look exactly like her other 4 (only even better than original) - which were hand carved in mexico - these stunning beauties finished in black leather & nickel engraved nailheads this chairs made a gorgeous addition to an already fantastic living room. We later came back and reupholstered the sofa, ottomans & several other pieces. All in a days’ work⭐️

May we all celebrate the complete removal of the built-in entertainment center with a million shelves hiding or containing sound systems, cable boxes, random gifts the owner doesn’t know what to do with 😂 now with our mounted and floating Frame TV, our custom marble wall,
we can hide our cable connections & power, happily donate the countless “chachki’s” and color-matched classics. Agatha Christie, JD Salinger and Dickens can be transferred to the conference room upstairs or donated to the library. All we need now is a metal tray to hold all of our remotes! Same entertainment area, not the same treatment. Wood slatting keeps it warm, while hiding the light connections, plugs & switches.

Why settle for chunky, pointy, squares of ice, when you can create perfect, purified spheres of ice? From cocktails and spirits to soft drinks and straight H2o this incredible device created by Monogram offers a great show & an even better finish on the palette. Coined “whiskey balls” we love it for many more things. So beautiful in person (and so fast) it looks like a flawless diamond and so much more affordable!

Celebrating another year of hard-work, beautiful scenery, new chapters and a constant underlying gratitude that we live here - in Southern California! I’ve escaped to this beach with my sister @srdiamond1 since we were single digits, living wild & free where music & film was born & being made everyday, to endless dreams of surfing, sailing, skateboarding, roller skating or listening-in at the recording studio where our Dad occasionally worked and where legendary memories were being created everyday. You didn’t have to go to Disneyland to get inspired & thrilled, you just had to look around!! See the dreams made, the dreams that died or got lost to abuse or poverty, to instant billionaires in tech, fashion, sports, film, art & our personal favorite: architecture! Growing up going to Dodger games, Laker Games, Kings’ Games, concerts & rodeos, I can even remember driving over the border to see Jai Lai matches live in Mexico. From warm and sunny winters in Palm Springs, to chilly, snowy seasons at Mammoth Mountain, fragrant & verdant Autumn’s at the Sequoia National Forest, Yosemite, Big Sir or Carmel, to mind blowing grounds & interior tours of Hearst Castle or Montecito with its manors, mansions & holy churches… there are countless other special nuggets that were not included here, more pics and stories to follow… Keep Dreaming, Keep Going, Keep Doing ⭐️ Happy New Year with Love, Peace, Health & Prosperity for 2026 💎

After a much anticipated completion - here is our beautiful new Worsted Wool & Silk area rug. Handcrafted in beautiful, Grand Rapids, MI. Thank you Scott Group @scottgroupstudio for making it happen ⭐️ Now our Mrs. private office can really welcome her back! We matched the rugs’ wool & silk fibers to the existing cream, vanilla & taupe leather, upholstery fabric, wallcovering and coveted art work. Did you notice the other new & lovely detail? Check out that perfectly flush black power box that we buried a foot into the concrete! Now all of her comms & power can plug directly into the floor instead of chunky wires coming from the wall. One of the most tedious (and filthy) jobs - but so absolutely worth it & much safer. This industrial building in gorgeous El Segundo came with hardwood finished floors. All we had to do was “feather in” some replacement planks and that in-floor power box just melds right in! Thank you Wire-Pros for always killing it and showing up on time! ⚡️ Thank you Rich @kika_woodworks for the flawless finish. taken in Smoky Hollow, El Segundo by @interiordesigngroupla
