Turns out there’s a LOT more happening in my head when I’m holding a tape measure. 😂

I recently flew to Molokaʻi, Hawaiʻi to field measure our newest full-home furnishing project — including the main house, guest house, lanais, and every piece of existing furniture we may be incorporating into the new design.

And this is one of my favorite parts of what I do 🤍

When I measure a home, I get into what I lovingly call my "creative genius" zone 📐

I’m not just writing down dimensions.

I’m thinking about how each space feels. How the family will move through it. What should stay. What needs to change. Where the eye naturally travels. How the indoor spaces connect to the lanais and that incredible waterfront view. And, most importantly, what this home could become.

By the time I leave a field measure, I’ve already started designing the home in my head ✨️

This Molokaʻi project is especially exciting because it represents exactly where Interior Vision Design Studio is headed next 🌺

As we make our move to Hawaiʻi, IVDS is transitioning to exclusively serving homeowners throughout the Hawaiian Islands with full-service interior design, new construction + renovation design, and whole-home furnishing.

Building, renovating, or furnishing a home in Hawaiʻi?

Arrested... for saving you from making financial building mistakes, for assisting in designing your dream home, and for going above and beyond for you during your home build.

The biggest mistake people make when building a custom?

They think design happens AFTER they hire a builder. It doesn't!

By the time most homeowners bring in a designer...they're already locked into layouts, electrical plans, and decisions that are expensive to change.

This is exactly why I walk clients through their plans BEFORE construction begins.

👉This is your sign to start earlier.

Building your dream home should feel exciting—not overwhelming 🙅🏼‍♀️

If you’re designing a custom home, remodeling, or relocating, the design decisions you make early on directly impact your budget, timeline, and peace of mind. Too often, homeowners try to navigate the process alone and end up stressed, second-guessing every choice, or facing costly changes later.
This is where working with an experienced interior designer for new construction truly protects your investment.

At Interior Vision Design Studio, I provide a stress-free interior design process using:

✔ 3D visualization so you can see your home before it’s built
✔ Digital concept boards for confident decision-making
✔ A fixed-fee interior design model for complete budget clarity
✔ Builder-aligned collaboration to keep projects moving

The result?

✨ Fewer mistakes
✨ No decision fatigue
✨ A beautifully designed home tailored to your lifestyle

Because dream homes without the stress should be the standard—not the exception.
If you’re building or remodeling and want clarity before moving forward, I’d love to help.

Just grateful she keeps showing up for herself 🥹🫶🏼

At the end of today's "Illuminate You" event @hutchandhivesocialhouse, my mentor and business coach @martine31williams asked us all to take selfies of ourselves and thank the girl looking back at them for investing into the woman they are becoming ✨️

There are so many exciting changes happening in out family and businesses in the next 6 months that I can't wait to share with y'all! But for now, I just wanted to post this permenant reminder on my feed of the girl who never gave up and continues to grow year after year 😭

Thank you for believing in me, for sharing my posts, for supporting our family and for trusting us with your homes. At the end of the day, my mission has always been to build custom homes for families, by families. Homes that feel like a resort and function at a high level so you can live fun vibrant lives inspired by your environment 🤙🏼

Pretty pictures are fun... But that’s not really what my clients hire me for 🤍

They hire me because building or renovating a home comes with approximately 4,782 decisions… and suddenly everyone needs an answer from you 🫠

Where should this outlet go?
Is this tile the right scale?
Will that light actually work here?
Did the builder interpret the plan correctly?
Are we making a decision we’re going to regret six months from now?

That’s where I come in.

Working with Interior Vision is a little different than simply hiring someone to “design your house.”

I become your designer + project advocate + professional second set of eyes throughout the process 👀

I’m reviewing plans.
Thinking three steps ahead.
Catching things before they become expensive mistakes.
Helping communicate the vision.
And giving you the confidence to make decisions without second-guessing every single one.

And yes—we have a LOT of fun doing it! 😉

Because creating your home should be exciting. You shouldn’t have to become an interior designer, construction expert, and project manager just to survive the process.

You bring me the dream. I’ll help you navigate how we actually build it. 🏡

Planning a new build or large-scale renovation? Don’t wait until you’re overwhelmed with decisions to bring in a designer!

💌 DM me PROJECT and tell me what you’re planning. I’ll let you know how I can help.

We don’t just make homes pretty.

We help busy families make hundreds of decisions before they become expensive mistakes.

Because great design isn’t just about the sofa, tile or paint color.

It’s catching the outlet that’s in the wrong place.
Planning where the furniture will actually go.
Making sure the lighting works with the way you live.
Thinking through storage, traffic flow, entertaining, kids, guests + everyday life — before construction makes those decisions harder to change.

At Interior Vision Design Studio, we design homes around the people who actually live in them.

So if you’re building or renovating and already feel overwhelmed by the decisions…

Don’t wait until you need help picking finishes.

Start with the plans.

Comment PLANS or DM me PLANS and I’ll send you information about our Blueprint Analysis + how we can help before construction gets too far ahead. 🤍

Building a custom home should be exciting.

But somewhere between the floor plans, lighting, tile, plumbing, cabinetry, furniture, and approximately 847 decisions your builder needs from you… it can start feeling like a second full-time job. 😅

That’s where I come in.

At Interior Vision Design Studio, I help busy families take their home from blueprints → selections → furnishings → finished home without having to manage every detail themselves.

And the earlier I’m involved, the more opportunities we have to catch expensive mistakes before they’re built.

If you’re planning a new build or major renovation in 2026–2027, I’m opening conversations now for upcoming projects.

DM me the word HOME and tell me: 🏠 Where you’re building
📐 New build or renovation
📅 When you expect to break ground

I’ll personally respond and let you know what I’d recommend as your next step.

No pressure. No generic sales pitch. Just a professional second set of eyes before the expensive decisions begin.
