This is INTERLUDE 🪗

Our aim is to create a space for new, experimental and contemporary club culture through events and, in a further consequence, also a place where people can feel comfortable and musically discover and vizualise new things.

Here, we would like to introduce ourselves

Olgica

Over the last years, Graz based DJ, Olgica, has been exploring the music and performance playground, with her style and idea of delivering music constantly evolving. A wide spectrum of different genres and forms are attributes of Olgica’s sets, ranging from broken beats, breaks and bass, flowing in different directions into deep spheric techno and house. Olgica’s sound selection is highly eclectic. Each set, while varying in style and genre, comes together through her careful and skilled selection.

Milès Borghese

A young local selector from Kassel, Milès Borghese began learning his trade mixing records in his early teens. From there, he steadily established himself as a resident for the prominent Unten club for over six years, and is now located in Graz studying computer music and sound art. The moods and styles in his sets and productions vary from experimental, mellow, playful and housy to dark and breaky.

Kessel Vale

Kessel Vale is the alias of the Munich composer, producer and DJ Dominik Lekavski. As a student of computer music at the Institute for Electronic Music & Acoustics in Graz, he deals with generative and algorithmic processes in electronic music. His releases have appeared on labels such as Molten Moods and Rhythm Nation. In his DJ sets, he makes use of the various forms of electronic music subcultures between techno, breaks and bass.

SPATIAL SOUND CONCERT IN DOM IM BERG | 03. September 2026 | 20:15h

Join us at Dom im Berg for an evening dedicated to live spatial-sound performances by Stefan Tiefengraber, Gabriela Gordillo, and Distorted Lights. The evening will be closed with an IDM DJ Set by Paul Junk.

Join us for another evening of ambisonic experimentation!
Doors open at 19:30h, and the concert starts at 20:15h. Entrance is free!

The Nerd Night concert series is sponsored by the Frazer Spielstätten, which grants the Institute for Sonic Welfare access to the Ambisonics Sound System of the Dom im Berg. Stadt Graz Kulturamt, BKMÖS Abt2 and Land STMK A9 support the Nerd Night 2026 project.

Ehua has been making waves since the release of her 2018 debut EP, Diplozoon. Known for her thoughtful approach to sound and rhythm, as well as her bold and versatile DJ sets, she has developed a style that is both dynamic and emotionally resonant.
Over the years, Ehua has earned a reputation as an original, skilled selector, regularly performing at some of the world’s most iconic clubs and festivals. Her broad collection of mixes and long-running residency on Rinse FM offer an ongoing glimpse into her wide-ranging influences and rhythmic sensibilities, often rooted in percussive textures and shifting tempos.
Ehua’s distinctive signature sound and unique approach to composition and songwriting set her apart as a forward-thinking independent artist. Her prolific discography exudes depth and intentionality, marked by a careful balance of texture, structure, and mood. Her productions reflect an artist who is always evolving and pursuing new creative directions that explore the fluid intersections of sound, identity, and meaning.
With releases on labels such as svbkvlt , Fabric Records, Nervous Horizon, Tratratrax, Exit Records, Ninja Tune, and her forthcoming debut LP Panta Rei on 3024 Music, Ehua stands as a singular voice — consistently shapeshifting while remaining rooted in her artistic truth.
Beyond music, Ehua has a lifelong interest in the arts, which she cultivates as a means of self-expression and ontological research within her practice. A producer, writer, and creative director of all of her projects—including the forthcoming short film titled after her debut LP — Ehua is also a mentor and educator. She composes soundtracks for films and multidisciplinary dance performances and is part of the Rome-based arts collective Griotmag/Spazio Gri.

If you want to trace the beginnings of DJ Pete’s status in Techno culture, you have to go back a very long way. He emerged as a DJ in the pioneering days of the Berlin scene during the late 80s and joined Hard Wax in 1991, which now makes him the longest serving staff member of the legendary record store.

As a producer he made his name with the first release on Chain Reaction in 1995, together with René Löwe aka Vainqueur as Scion. Substance, the acclaimed alias DJ Pete uses for his own productions has a back catalogue of highly influential solo efforts and acclaimed remixes for pivotal Techno artists like Juan Atkins, Regis, Robert Hood, Monolake or Shed.

DJ Pete earned similar respect behind the decks, combining highly individual mixing skills with his vast knowledge of Techno history and an unquenchable thirst for new sounds. His sets incorporate elements of pure Techno, the Hard Wax tradition and powerful House tracks.

His scope is informed by frequent Dynamic Tension nights at Tresor in the late 90s with Surgeon and his residency at Berghain since its opening. He is also known to merge Techno with Dubstep and selecting Reggae, particularly while working the mighty Killasan sound system at Wax Treatment events.

Watch out Graz 🧨

interlude and loophole are finally uniting on the 05th of July, with a comeback of the biggest Graz fan Florian Kupfer and Interhole forces combined in a lovely b2b madness, brining up some old school house & techno flavour.

Florian Kupfer is a German artist, DJ, and electronic music producer known for mapping the musical landscape’s distant poles. Kupfer explores extremes, deconstructing analog noise and rhythmic industrial soundscapes with intellectual curiosity.

Kupfer has released multiple records on L.I.E.S., including the notable BLK04 and LIES 045 „This Society,“ which hold the most artistic importance in his career. His work on L.I.E.S. has been a steady part of his output, complemented by an exploration of the transcendental qualities of sound, improvisational composing, and reflecting on our shifting relationship with affects and time.

Utilizing vintage electronics, Kupfer combines his engineering skills with the expressive, fallible humanity of analog performance, creating a unique fusion of contemporary classical composition.

Interlude in Concert #2

Wellcome back to our concert series !

This time, we want to bring you to an intense sonic journey with three live acts bringing up various themes and sounds.

Doors open at 21h and we will show a screening of different short movies, followed by popcorns and a special cozy drink.

Concerts are on from 23-02.

Julia Just’s is an idiosyncratic electronic soundworld of haunted drones, pulses, creaks, and reverberations. The Vienna-based artist deploys field recordings alongside granular synthesis and various digital FX chains via a modular setup – but the result is consistently surprising and mired in a deep sense of darkness. Abstract journeys from the intersection of post-industrial, dark-ambient and electroacoustic music.

Reza Kellner is an experimental musician and multimedia artist working with sound, video and
photography.
As a musician and soundartist, he is particularly interested in using simple forms to explore long
and minimalist compositions, slow movements and immersive experiences.
His practice is rooted in the connection to the senses, inward and outward perceptions and
exploring material and environmental processes and relations.

Utopixel, aka Francesco ‘Cippo’ Casanova, is one of the founders of the BitNet01 and CMKK collectives. In his performances, he experiments with sounds, lines of code, and pixels by intricating them into a canvas made of abstract sounds, polyrhythms, repetitions, ethereal textures, and synthetic sounds. From Drones passing through IDM to Electro, his hybrid-set crosses various worlds of electronic music experimentation until arriving at the world of acid breakbeat.

His studio output (released on @ilian_tape ), comprises the rarest of materials cast in a shapeshifting mold, is incomparable and essential. His truly unique and seemingly esoteric approach has garnered him legions of fervent fans the world over, and his performances and releases the kind of hot anticipation rarely afforded to the like.
