Join us for Death Café #2!
August 28th, 3670 Jeanne-Mance, Tiohtiá:ke/Montreal, #420, 7:30-9pm.

On the 28th, we’ll gather for another opportunity to share and reflect on our collective and individual experiences of mortality. Bring your thoughts, curiosities and open heart into a cozy, warmly lit space to discuss (or just listen to) all things death and dying.

There will be cake and tea for you.

Our Death Cafés are based off of the model created by the late UK nurse, Jon Underwood, which follows the guidelines of:
- Maintaining a lightly facilitated space of curiosity and sharing.
- Knowing our limits. While gathering together may be supportive in general and emotions are welcome, please note that this is not a formal grief support group and we will not have a trained professional with us.
- Holding an intention of respect and interest in peoples varying views.
- Having cake!

Capacity has been reached much quicker than anticipated! Please check your email in case we had to add you to our waitlist.

We are adding another Death Cafe date in August to accommodate the bubbling interest! Will keep the waitlist updated as priority and open registration for our new date in the next coming weeks.

Join us August 5th from 7:30-9pm at 3680 rue Jeanne-Mance, Tiohtiá:ke/Montreal, studio #420 for a unique opportunity to share and reflect on our collective and individual experiences of mortality. There will be cake and non-alcoholic drinks for you to enjoy 🍰

Booking psychic/intuitive readings for July. ❤️ Great for those wishing to connect to themselves and their situations with a spiritual lens.

I have shifted to sliding scale pricing: $50-$80 per session.

Physically I'll be in Unama:ki/Cape Breton in the first half of July and then in Tiohtiá:ke/Mooniyang/Montreal for the rest of the month. Zoom is also an option if you'd rather stay in your own space.

I love this work and see it as a unitive, collaborative, experimental, expansive form of prayer.

Scribbles in my notebook from the End of Life Care (death doula) training I completed last Spring. The first one is in reference to a story about an elderly Neanderthal skeleton that showed evidence of having a healed broken leg. I don’t know where it’s from but it would be evidence of compassion and community. We’ve known how to tend to each other.
And the other slides- let the people sing… Singing. The importance of being together physically… The absurdity of being alive…
