Joyeux anniversaire à moi. 💙🎂 🎈

47. Wow. I don’t take this birthday -or this life for granted.

First and foremost, THANK YOU, GOD. 🙏🏾 I’ve survived loss, heartbreak, grief, disappointment, and moments I wasn’t sure how I’d get through. But I’m still here. Still loving. Still laughing. Still creating. Still building. Still becoming.

And baby… I’m proud of me. 💙

I’ve lived dreams that little girl in this picture couldn’t have imagined. I’m a singer, songwriter, vocal coach, entrepreneur, and the owner of two businesses created to pour into and help others. I’ve stood in rooms I once prayed about, worked with incredible people, traveled, loved deeply, lost deeply—and somehow, through it all, God has continued to remind me: there is still MORE.

So 47 is different.

I’m not shrinking. I’m not settling. I’m not negotiating my worth, my peace, my purpose, or what God has promised me. I love myself too deeply to accept anything—or anyone—that requires me to forget who God called me to be.

I’m laser focused. My future is BRIGHT. And I’m going after everything God has for me. Period. 💅🏾

To everyone who has loved me, poured into me, celebrated me, prayed for me, and reminded me what I mean to you—thank you. I receive that love.

Hydration and warm-ups are vocal stewardship.

Your vocal folds are delicate tissue. When hydrated, they vibrate with less impact stress, giving you clearer tone, smoother register transitions, stronger stamina, and less inflammation. When dry, strain shows up fast.

That’s why we hum.
That’s why we hiss on an S.
That’s why we do lip trills and sirens.

Humming supports cord closure and resonance.
Hissing strengthens breath control and subglottal pressure.
Lip trills coordinate airflow and phonation.
Sirens maintain flexibility and range.
