✨ It's Find Your Joy Friday, but today, we're feeling a bit frustrated. 😅 We're all about helping women embrace their sexual health and find their joy, but navigating the world of advertising on this platform is anything but joyful right now.

We recently worked with an incredible agency @phreeagentcreative to help us create some professional videos. The first video we tried to use as a sponsored ad is a behind-the-scenes video from our office and the outdoors —just us talking about our business and the importance of intimate health, nothing explicit—but it got rejected as an ad. 🚫 Was it the brief clip of a couple making out? We're not sure, and it's hard to understand why.

We're sharing the video here because we believe in transparency and keeping the conversation going. But honestly, we don't know if non-followers will even be allowed to see it. 😕

Even with these challenges, we're not giving up! We're here to normalize these conversations and make sure every woman can access the information she needs to feel confident and empowered. So, even on frustrating days like this, we're staying focused on our mission.

Let’s find our joy together, even when the road is bumpy! 💖 #FindYourJoyFriday #SexualHealthMatters #FrustratedButDetermined by @intimate.wellbeing

What am I dressing up as for Halloween this year? Same thing as last year, of course.

THE LUBE FAIRY!

And how does the Lube Fairy earn her wings, you ask?

By travelling throughout the land, singing the praises of lubricant, spreading joy, and reminding women everywhere that lube makes everything better.

Some fairies grant wishes. Some sprinkle fairy dust. This one recommends a really good lubricant.

Happy Halloween!

Sex shouldn't feel like sandpaper. And if it does, there's something worth figuring out.

Is it dryness? Friction? Or a little of both?

Here's how I explain it to women who visit the Pink Palace.

A moisturizer is maintenance. A lubricant is in the moment.

Okanagan Glow helps relieve vaginal dryness with regular use, while Okanagan Joy provides glide to reduce friction during intimacy.

And yes, you can absolutely benefit from both.

One more thing. If sex continues to hurt, please don't just keep adding lubricant and hoping for the best. There can be other reasons for discomfort, and you deserve to know what's going on.

Save this for later, or share it with a friend who might need to hear it.

Overheard at the Pink Palace.
The things women whisper to me...

Here's the thing. If you're wondering about it, I guarantee someone else is too.

And after years of talking about sex, menopause, lubricants and vibrators, there's very little that surprises me anymore.

Send me all the questions... by @intimate.wellbeing

The weekends are for hiking. But apparently, work followed me into the woods. For the record, HRT stands for High Rim Trail. But since we're here, let's talk about the other HRT.

Something has been on my mind lately. Every time we run an ad for our lubricant or vaginal moisturizer, someone inevitably pops into the comments with: "Just tell women to take HRT!"

Okay. A few things.

1. HRT is a personal medical decision. I'm not a doctor, and I'm certainly not going to tell a woman what medication she should or shouldn't take.

2. I regularly talk about the benefits of hormone therapy. I'm a big believer in women having access to good information, knowledgeable healthcare providers, and treatments that work for them.

3. In case you hadn't noticed, those are ads. For my little Canadian business. The one I'm working very hard to keep the lights on for. I can't sell HRT, but I can sell products that help women feel better.

4. And while we're at it, can we stop giving strangers unsolicited medical advice in the comment sections? Especially when we know absolutely nothing about their medical history?

Imagine me showing up on a coffee shop's ad and commenting, "JUST TELL PEOPLE TO DRINK TEA!"

Here's what really gets me. Why are we still making women feel like there's one right way to navigate menopause? Some women choose HRT. Some don't. Some aren't candidates for it. And plenty of women use HRT AND still need a good lubricant or moisturizer. Every single one of them deserves options. Without judgment. Without unsolicited advice. And without being made to feel they've chosen wrong. There's room for all of it.

But yes, this business is always on my mind, and it seems even the trees want to talk about menopause.

Happy Sunday.

“You look happier.”

Thanks. I spend my days talking about vaginas, vibrators and why women over 50 deserve a whole lot more pleasure.

But seriously...Four years ago, I never imagined this would be my life. That I'd own a sexual wellness store, talk openly about sexual health, and have conversations with women about things they've sometimes never said out loud.

Is running a small business always joyful? HA! Absolutely not. Some days I'd happily trade it all for a job where someone else worries about the bills.

But then a woman tells me she's finally comfortable in her body again. Or that she and her partner are finding their way back to intimacy. Or she simply thanks me for making her feel normal. And there it is. The joy.

So here's your Find Your Joy Friday reminder: Joy doesn't have an expiry date. Neither does pleasure. And you certainly don't age out of either.

Now tell me, what's making YOU happy these days?

The first time you walk into a sex shop, you suddenly forget how to speak at a normal volume.

“I’m just looking...” (said oh so quietly). Ladies, I promise you, you're not going to shock me.

I've heard it all. I've answered it all. And there is absolutely no question too embarrassing to ask.

Whether you're curious about your first vibrator, trying to figure out whether lube or moisturizer is right for you, or just wondering what the heck we actually sell in here, you are welcome in this safe space.

No judgment. No pressure. And I promise not to announce your purchase over a loudspeaker. Now tell me, were you a whisperer the first time you walked into a sex shop? Or did you march right in like you owned the place?

Toy Talk Tuesday: The Case of the Broken Vibrator.

Except... it’s not broken.

I get these emails ALL the time. “It won’t turn on!” “I think it’s defective!” “Help!” And 9 times out of 10? It just needs a little patience. And a longer press.

Most rechargeable vibrators require you to press and HOLD the power button for 2–3 seconds to turn them on. A quick click won't do it! Once it's on, short clicks usually change the settings.

Of course, every toy is a little different, so check your instructions before declaring it dead.

Now, be honest with me...Have you ever thought your vibrator was broken, only to discover you weren't turning it on properly? No judgment here. But I might have a little giggle.

On Fridays, I sit on my desk and tell you about menopause... And this Friday, I have something VERY important to tell you.

Sunday is National Menopause Day, and I've decided that if the rest of the world gets Black Friday, we deserve our own shopping holiday.

So we're having a MENOPAUSE SALE!

Because quite frankly, I think vaginal dryness, hot flashes, disappearing libidos and all the other joys of midlife deserve a little compensation.

I'm not spilling the details just yet, but if you're on our email list, you'll be the first to know.

And while I have your attention, we have only about 45 M.E. Boxes left! Which is pretty incredible, considering how many of you have already ordered one. THANK YOU!

So, two things:

💕 Get yourself on our email list before Sunday.

💕 Keep an eye on your inbox.

Because if there's one thing I believe, it's that midlife deserves a whole lot more joy.

**It takes a village to navigate menopause. And we've gathered some pretty incredible women to help. 💗**

One of the things I'm most proud of at Intimate Wellbeing is the community of experts we've brought together.

Because menopause isn't just about hot flashes and vaginal dryness. It's about our bodies, our relationships, our confidence, our sexuality and sometimes figuring out who we are all over again.

And we deserve good information along the way.

That's why we created the **M.E. Resource Room**.

We've brought together six incredible experts, each sharing their own knowledge, insights and resources to help women navigate midlife with a little more confidence and a lot less confusion. Learn from @drloribrotto, @drcarolinklein, @bc_vulvar_health, @drshafeenapremij, @cindyscharkey, @karephysio

And there's more!

You'll also get access to our **SPARK Speaker Series**, featuring 10 educational seminars covering menopause, sexual health, intimacy and pleasure.

It's the kind of information I wish every woman had access to long before menopause arrived.

Swipe through and meet the experts who have so generously contributed to this resource. We are incredibly grateful to every one of them.

**The M.E. Resource Room is included with every M.E. Box**, because we believe education belongs right alongside the products that help us feel good.
