2 years no alcohol…

Just hit this milestone last week and my wife asked me what the best thing about it was. I had to think because I am getting benefits in so many different areas.

But I reckon the no.1 thing has been the change in my relationship with myself. I didn’t realise how much negative self talk I had until it was gone - I am happier with who I am and life is so much easier as a result.

I ended up coming up with a long list of things that have improved but I won’t get into it here. Everyone is different and all I know is that my relationship with alcohol wasn’t serving me well.

I still spend as much of my time as I can in dark, loud rooms but now I drive home and feel good the following day.

Lots of life happens over the course of 2 years and for me it has definitely made all the good stuff easier to achieve and the not so good stuff easier to deal with.

Please feel free to send a DM if any of this resonates, no expert but always happy to chat 🙏🏻

Thank you to my incredible wife for her support on the journey @xyloaria ❤️ taken in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia by @intka_dj

Good times captured at @thebreakfastclub_melbourne yesterday - set recording is up 💿

It’s been a while since I’ve put anything on Soundcloud as I’ve been focused on Headzy Bop but this was a fun one.

It’s not perfect - I accidentally turned on a filter around 16 mins which made everything quieter and bassey...and then turned it off in the least subtle way possible, goes back to full volume suddenly 😅

That’s how it goes sometimes in a loud and live setting - in the past I would have wanted it to be perfect but that’s just not real

Anyhow, give it a listen if you’re interested x taken in onesixone by @intka_dj
