Year one of UNVRS.
I was there when it was still a construction site. No lights, no sound, no crowd. Just walls going up.
Hard to explain what it feels like to watch something become the number one club in the world — and to have been part of it from that moment.
Grateful to my video team, who made this season what it was. And to everyone at @thenightleague and @highscream for trusting us with it.
I started this alone. Now I have a team. That means everything.

Year two: We’re just getting started.

Today marks the premiere of the documentary about Avicii’s last show at Ushuaïa Ibiza on @netflixnordic . For some, this release might just be another event, but for me, that day held a meaning I will never forget. On August 28, 2016, I witnessed a moment that would be etched in my memory forever.

Knowing I would relive that moment through the documentary, I went back to my hard drives, found the raw files from Avicii’s shows, and started re-editing every photo, every instant. As I did, I not only rediscovered images but also the emotions, the sounds… It felt as if Tim was there again, radiating his unique energy.

Here are my 20 favorite photos of @avicii , a personal tribute to someone who changed the world with his music. Tim had this incredible ability to transform moods, to touch the deepest parts of the soul of anyone who listened. And that is exactly what makes this world of music so special. It’s not just about parties, lights, and dancing; it’s about emotions, about moments that stay with you forever. Moments that, even as the years go by, you cannot erase—and wouldn’t want to.

My journey as a photographer began with a dream: to freeze time with an image. A good photo doesn’t need sound; it carries within it all the music you need to hear.

I remember starting in the nightlife world not for trends but for passion, for that deep need to tell stories through my lens. And that night with Avicii was proof that the path I chose had meaning.

Thank you to @ushuaiaibiza , @yannpissenem , and @romain_pissenem for making those moments possible, for creating a space where dreams became reality and where music transcended time and space. And of course, thank you, Tim. For your music, for your soul, and for leaving us all with a legacy so profound we will never stop remembering you.

Today, as I share these photos, I can’t help but feel a lump in my throat. Because this is not just a tribute to an artist; it’s a reminder of how fragile and beautiful life is. Of how important it is to keep doing what we love and capturing those moments that make us feel alive.

Tim, wherever you are, thank you for everything. taken in Ushuaïa Ibiza by @intoptier
