Formal Introduction. Come with me on this journey. We gon’ laugh, cry, wrestle with the uncomfortable text but most of all…WE’RE GOING TO TALK ABOUT JESUS AND THE FINISHED WORK OF CALVARY. If you would like not to hear that 🤷🏽‍♀️🥺 I still, very much, love you but you can continue to scroll.

But we are going to discuss Jesus and Him crucified HERE (on THIS platform) and what the means for YOU.

Signed with Love,

The Righteousness of God in Christ (Chanel) by @intro_spectacles

Don’t try to establish your own righteousness, boo. “Self-righteousness” looks like not fully trusting in Jesus’s FINISHED AND COMPLETE work or trying to add to the, already fulfilled, work/gospel of Christ’s grace.

BELIEVE IN THE ONE WHOM HE SENT, which is, Christ Jesus. John 6:29

John 3:16, 18
Romans 5:18-21

Read Romans 5 full chapter AND Romans 6 full chapter.

Let’s discuss it next week by @intro_spectacles

Faith is so simple, so much so, that you do it everyday without thinking twice.

It has nothing to do with feeling googly on the inside. It does, however, have ALL to do with what/who you’re putting your trust in. You walk into buildings without thinking twice about the construction! You trust that they built it well enough to not cave in as soon as you cross the threshold. You trust electricity. You trust your phone and the phone carrier. You know how to trust.

Why make this mystical? Jesus offered a promise backed by His trustworthiness. He offered rest and ETERNAL life to all that believe/TRUST in Him and His finished work.

It’s yours if you want. Take a load off and sit with Him.

Don’t put your confidence in man (including yourself). You need to be trusting Jesus!!! #holinessisright #salvation #grace by @intro_spectacles

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of GOD for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.”

The Gospel is as simple as DEEP BREATH/RELIEF, an all expense paid vacation from uncertainty and anxiety. He paid for all of your sins (the ones you have done already and even the ones that you have yet to do) and has offered eternity with him.

No questions asked.

The Gospel is a simple but extravagant offer to just be with God and to know Him as your Dad. Free from the care that He will disown you at the first sign of wrongdoing. You’re just free to marvel at how amazing He is.

He has you FOREVER. Signed, sealed and you’re delivered. 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾

God’s Love is THE great motivator and it’s more than enough.

You can’t encounter it and be the same. The VERY TRANSFORMATIVE power stems from the grace and goodness of God.

It’s strips you of the facade of righteousness and shows you your absolute need of the real deal. It reveals what you have hidden behind religious performance and shows you how you need the grace that you think everyone else needs in comparison to you. It helps you realize your human fragility but wraps you in eternal acceptance.

My God…you can’t convince me that His love/His Son/The gospel isn’t enough to be taught regularly.

It’s the transforming power of God.

That’s it.

Work OUT ≠ Work FOR

And work OUT doesn’t mean bargain with God either.

Truth be told His standard can’t be haggled. It must be met with perfection. (Insert Jesus’ entrance into the world)

THANK YOU GOD FOR Jesus. He WAS and, also, MET the standard of righteousness and conquered death, hell and the grave so that we can have the opportunity to be presented as righteous before a Holy and Just God.

Lord’s willing we’ll talk more later about what this means for us.

The message is the same but should never get old.

This message is what sets us apart from any other religion. It invites the hearer to see how much we need a savior, how much the sacrifice ACTUALLY cost, and how much of the debt was ACTUALLY paid. This is a quite literally a life or death issue.

Please read the book of Romans (particularly the whole of chapter 10).

Paul always had to put people in remembrance of the cross…Same for Peter…The writer of Hebrews…

Gee, I wonder why??? Because it’s THAT important.

Everything changed when Jesus died and rose again!!!! And I mean EVERYTHING. So it’s a big deal.

Don’t think for one second that someone understands anything about what happened at the cross just because they keep showing up for service at the building, tote their Bible around or talk about the newest popular pastor. That’s playing Russian roulette with their eternity. Keep explaining. Keep teaching the same thing. You never know, one day the light may go off and NOWWWW they finally understand and RECEIVE the Word/message of Christ.

PLEASE, I implore you to STUDYYYYYYY. Take time to read these books. Don’t take anybody’s words on the scriptures (INCLUDING ME). Know it for yourself.

Holy Spirit=God with you FOREVER

He gave us Himself as a promise and cool thing is…He can’t lie.
