POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

The boys and I have been working on some recordings. You may get to hear some of them this spring. In case I don’t post to the grid again before a couple of these, Unity Ticket plays the following local gigs:

3/15 at Farewell with Spit My Rage, Free 4 All, Blind, Covert, and Failure Drill

3/17 at Howdy with Act With Empathy, Figurine, and Failure Drill

6/6 at recordBar with Liberty & Justice, The Uncouth, and Ironbar taken in Kansas City, Kansas by @introfreemind

In case you missed all my posts about it thus far, I’ve launched a Substack newsletter called Racket Club by Shuttlecock. Delivered to your inbox once a week (Friday), it recaps all of the best new local releases, the next week’s live music calendar, and whatever else I decide to tack on at the end. The goal is brevity, clarity, and quality.

A subscription costs only $5 per month or $55 per year and each reader is allowed to view one edition for free before deciding if they’d like to become a paid subscriber.

You can find the link in the Shuttecock Linktree (in my bio), on the second slide of this post, or just by searching “shuttlecockmag” if you’re already on Substack. I’d appreciate your patronage a whole lot (and a big thank you to anyone who already subscribed in these first two weeks)!

A bunch of my friends made a cool hardcore song and they let me do some shouting on it. “Spine Crew” by Spine is streaming everywhere now and available on cassette via Convulse Records. 📷 @gremlin.c taken in Kansas City, Kansas by @introfreemind

Heading to Minneapolis this Saturday to play Snow And Flurry 2024 with the gang (Spine, Failure Drill, and many more). Tickets still available — go grab yours. We look forward to seeing you. (Photos by Chance H. from our visit to Milwaukee back in June.) ❄️ by @introfreemind

I wrote an artist statement for my hardcore punk band’s demo tape. How cringe is that? Come to our release show on Friday and let me know. taken in Kansas City, Missouri by @introfreemind
