In the hustle and bustle of our daily lives, it's easy to get caught up in the chaos of work and obligations, leaving little room for our future to make its way in. It’s so easy to be and sound busy in the present, that any future, unscheduled possibilities don’t have room in our life (schedule or mind).

Over ten years ago one of my mentors told me this simple statement: "Make room for your future to come in." I pinned it to my fridge to remind myself of it on daily basis.

This is not just a mere motivational quote, but it’s actually about creating space by intentional action. At that time, I decided to give myself the freedom to do just that in my schedule. I started by reassessing my yearly and then daily commitments and identifying areas where I could trim unnecessary tasks or delegate responsibilities. It wasn't about cutting out everything, but about prioritizing what truly mattered and aligning my actions with my long-term goals.

By carving out intentional blocks of time dedicated to personal growth, learning, and planning, I began to witness a transformation. The once cramped and cluttered schedule started to breathe, making space for creativity, exploration, and opportunities that were waiting in the wings.

Making room for the future isn't just a practical adjustment; it's a mindset shift. It's about acknowledging that our current actions shape the path ahead. Whether it's pursuing a passion project, investing time in self-improvement, or fostering meaningful relationships, these intentional choices create the foundation for a more fulfilling and purpose-driven life.

As the days turned into weeks and then months, I found that my capacity to embrace new opportunities expanded. The saying on my fridge became a guiding principle, a reminder to be proactive in shaping the life I aspire to live.

So, if you find yourself overwhelmed by the present, consider taking a step back. Reflect on your goals, aspirations, and the changes you wish to see in your life. Make room in your schedule for the future to walk in, and watch as the possibilities unfold. It's not just about making time; it's about making room for the extraordinary journey that awaits. by @invisiblementors

Living in complete dependence on God unlocks the door to true freedom and abundant life. In surrender, we find strength; in trust, we discover peace. This Thanksgiving, let’s express our gratitude for the blessings, ultimate care and provision we have in Him.
