Hello everyone. This is a difficult post for us to write. But now is the time to let you all know that our bass brother, Julian, is sick. Last summer, he had a serious flare-up that ended up being attributed to Wilson's Disease. This has affected his nervous system, and faces challenges moving, balancing, speaking, and focusing, among other symptoms. He requires around-the-clock care. Despite this, JC is not one to give up on anything. There is hope for recovery, and he is doing everything in his power to get better soon. Robyn, Kenny and the rest of the family have been real rockstars during this whole process. We are putting a link to his GoFundMe in the comments below. The contributions that have been made up to this point have been nothing short of incredible. Please continue to donate, share, and send good wishes to our brother in Involute. Let's get him back out on stage as soon as possible. But don't even think about touching his bass. by @involuteofficial

πŸ”΅ FOUR YEARS OF HINDSIGHT πŸ”΅ Four years ago, Julian broke the news to Wyatt that Eli had been recording the whole time during Involute's three-year jam session. We took the best hour and released it to the world. Totally improvised. Throw on Hindsight today and tell a friend about it. 🀘 πŸ’Ώ πŸ’Ώ πŸ’Ώ #involute #hindsight #albumanniversary #progrock #progmetal #progmetalband #progrockband #progmusic #newprogmusic #djent #nymusicscene #ctmusicscene #hudsonvalleymusic #newhavenmusic by @involuteofficial

πŸ“Έ PICS OR IT DIDN'T HAPPEN πŸ“Έ We played our 4th Prog On the Lake one month ago today! Even after year four, we're still seeing folks make the trip and filling the lawn at @artsonthelake, which makes us eager to do it all again next year. Big shoutout to @larkwayband, @namibandny, @ecsovereign_band, @haishenband, and @headwithwingsmusic for coming out and delivering virtually flawless sets! πŸ’₯ How is it that every year we can mix together POTL vets and newbies, and the bar just keeps getting raised?! We're so glad we get to be a small part of this weird little prog-rock community in the northeast. 🀟 As always, this event can't happen without Barry and the Arts on the Lake interns taking charge of the sound πŸ”Š setup. Every year this turns into a long day, and we couldn't be more fortunate to work with such efficient, knowledgeable folks. Also, a massive shoutout πŸ—£ to Ed for never hesitating to take us and our friends, and of course an endless thank you to all the friends, families, and fans that have supported the event for four years now! πŸ‘Š Despite how happy we are about the show, this was one of the hardest ones we ever played. We played a pretty hefty set, stuffed with some new songs πŸ‘€ and covers to go along with our favorites from Hindsight. But the hardest part was taking the stage without Julian on bass. JC fell ill just before the set, and taking the stage just wasn't feasible for him at the time. So, in true Involute POTL-set fashion, we took the stage in a new configuration. 😬 Since then, he's been doing a lot better, and that's all that really matters. Every fall/winter we tend to hibernate πŸ’€ and this year is no different. Thank you for the support and always stay tuned for updates.🀘 πŸ“Έ: @thorncrossphotography πŸŒ€ πŸŒ€ πŸŒ€ #involute #progonthelake #potl #progshow #progfest #progrock #progmetal #progmetalband #progrockband #progmusic #newprogmusic #djent #nymusicscene #ctmusicscene #hudsonvalleymusic #newhavenmusic #artsonthelake #carmelny #headwithewings #haishen #ecsovereign #nami #larkway by @involuteofficial

🎢 POTL '25 BANDS 🎢 What can we say? We have absolutely no idea who these guys are. πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ They always show up and seem to take the stage with a new member confirguation each year. They still listen to Owl City πŸ¦‰ and they let the drummer write. They're an abomination, and they're the headliner. πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ πŸ’₯POTL IS TOMORROW!πŸ’₯ Ticket link πŸ”— in bio! ------------------------------------------------ β˜€οΈ 4th Annual Prog On the Lake β˜€οΈ Featuring: @involuteofficial @headwithwingsmusic @haishenband @ecsovereign_band Nami @larkwayband πŸ“: @artsonthelake πŸ“…: Sunday, August 10th 🎟 Tickets are $10 in Advance / $12 at Doors πŸšͺ Doors at 1:00 PM πŸ’₯ Show at 1:30 PM All Ages Show Free Parking! 🎢 POTL '25 BANDS 🎢 Co-headlining with us is one of the most professional progressive art-rock bands we've had the pleasure of sharing the stage with both in and out of Connecticut. 🀘 Consisting of five musicians, @headwithwingsmusic has a knack for creating hard rock and metal that has a pristine sheen to it. 🌬 When you watch each of these guys play, you will be amazed how they're able to blend so many different playing styles and approaches all into one song. And for this show, they will be joined by drummer πŸ₯ @benshanbrom from @earthsideband! 🎢 POTL '25 BANDS 🎢 Making their way from Rochester for their second consecutive year (probably by water) 🌊 is @haishenband, who bring the "power" in power-trio. You will have no choice but to ride the dynamic waves that they conjure up during their set. Running from the riffs is futile; swimming with them is inevitable. πŸ„β€β™‚οΈ ------------------------------------------------ β˜€οΈ 4th Annual Prog On the Lake β˜€οΈ Featuring: @involuteofficial @headwithwingsmusic @haishenband @ecsovereign_band Nami @larkwayband πŸ“: @artsonthelake πŸ“…: Sunday, August 10th 🎟 Tickets are $10 in Advance / $12 at Doors πŸšͺ Doors at 1:00 PM πŸ’₯ Show at 1:30 PM All Ages Show Free Parking! 🎢 POTL '25 BANDS 🎢 It's been over two years since we met @ecsovereign_band from Berklee, and we are so excited that they'll be hitting the stage this year for their first Prog On the Lake experience. D&D-inspired πŸ§™β€β™‚οΈ progressive metal that would make the titans in @dreamtheaterofficial and @btbamofficial nod their heads with approval. These guys are going to be bringing twists and turns to music like you haven't heard before at POTL! πŸŒͺ ------------------------------------------------ β˜€οΈ 4th Annual Prog On the Lake β˜€οΈ Featuring: @involuteofficial @headwithwingsmusic @haishenband @ecsovereign_band Nami @larkwayband πŸ“: @artsonthelake πŸ“…: Sunday, August 10th 🎟 Tickets are $10 in Advance / $12 at Doors πŸšͺ Doors at 1:00 PM πŸ’₯ Show at 1:30 PM All Ages Show Free Parking! 🎢 POTL '25 BANDS 🎢 Nami is a new progressive metal act founded by Hudson Valley native and guitar extraordinaire 🎸 @mattlampel55 (@thegunksband, @ccandtheheat) and they're taking the stage for the first time at this year's Prog On the Lake!
