The Photobooth Project

continues its touring with Queer and Now, currently in Stirling (Creative Stirling) and in Glasgow (Wasps Hanson Street) on Tuesday 1st October for two weeks (closed on weekends).

Please see this work if you can, all the artists involved made something so different and important and beautiful surrounding the AIDs crisis, section 28, and nightclub culture. Queer and Now tours alongside the show Small Town Boys which I got to see today. It made me cry and laugh and dance and if you manage to see it (it’s sold out in Glasgow) count yourself lucky.

Thanks to everyone involved: @shapercaper @creative_stirling @waspsstudios @waspsstudioshansonstreet @creativescots taken in Wasps Artists Studios by @iona.rosew

REALISING JO’S EUPHORIA

the final image for Jo and some 35mm outtakes and some clips! Jo’s euphoria was playing violin in nature, amongst the water and the rocks.

(for this project I interviewed two transgender people about what gave them gender euphoria and using their answers we did a photo shoot to represent that)

thank you Jo for your time and playing your heart out for this shoot <3 I’m so obsessed with the results

question for this post: is your gender expression different when you’re alone in nature etc vs with others in a city? by @iona.rosew

REALISING KIT’S EUPHORIA

the final image for Kit and some 35mm outtakes and some clips talking about the bathroom bill that goes into place today. Kit’s euphoria was all about being surrounded by those who have got his back, drinking a pint in the sun.

(for this project I interviewed two transgender people about what gave them gender euphoria and using their answers we did a photo shoot to represent that)

thank you Kit for your faith in me and this process and can’t wait to see you for a pint soon x
