I painted this for my Wife's birthday (today 😁) so can now reveal Fergus to the world.

I had such a great time painting something that was out of my comfort zone with all the different textures to render, but I am super proud of him and I think he is some of my best work.

The sculpt is created by my good friend Stu @tesseractminis and of course painted with his brushes too 😍

Also painted exclusively using @ionicsmarthobbies paints and he is now resting on a beautiful plinth by @taromodelmaker.

While away on holiday, I snuck some hobby gear with me 😁 I've finished this awesome sculpt from @bs_sculpt and quite pleased with my first try of ork/goblin skin. This was an absolute joy to paint. Special thanks go to @j_littlen.creates for her amazing feedback and guidance, really appreciate you Jade!

For this project, I used a mixed-media approach, combining airbrush and brushwork to build depth and texture. The warm gold tones were chosen to evoke the atmosphere of a desert world, with a color palette inspired by Khemri and its ancient, sun-scorched aesthetic. The vibrant turquoise was used as a focal accent, creating a strong contrast against the warm palette.

Sharing today the colors I used for the white armour of the Custodian Guard I painted a few weeks ago. It was my first time painting with colors from @ionicsmarthobbies and I really enjoyed them. They have some great tones for painting white👌🏻

Which color scheme do you prefer: the classic gold armour with a red cape, or the white armour with a purple cape?

ENG/ 日本語⬇️ Another Star Player from my current commission!

This time it's Gunk'O, a miniature by Greebo Games for Blood Bowl.

For this piece, I used cool tones on the clothing to create a strong temperature contrast with the warm skin of the goblin. This helps distinguish the different materials while naturally drawing the viewer's attention to the character.

I used the Harder & Steenbeck Infinity CRplus 2024 airbrush by @harderairbrush for the base coats, color transitions, and shading.

今回は、Greebo Games の Blood Bowl 用ミニチュア Gunk'O です。

この作品では、ゴブリンの暖かみのある肌色との色温度のコントラストを生み出すために、衣装には寒色系を使用しました。素材ごとの違いを際立たせ、自然と視線がキャラクターに集まるような配色を意識しています。

マントのベースコート、色のグラデーション、シャドウの工程には、Harder & Steenbeck Infinity CRplus 2024 エアブラシを使用しました。

Colour doesn’t always need to be loud to create impact.
This piece was built around a restrained palette, with small shifts in temperature and saturation tying the whole scene together.

Painted primarily with @ionicsmarthobbies paints and @artisopusltd brushes!

It was created as my competition entry for the Rotspot Competition 2026, hosted by Richard Gray for his community. Check it out! The final judging is still pending.

Painting the pennant of the Cruciform Order of St George. Miniature by @hollowcrownminiatures, sculpted by @aquila_sculpting.

For this flag, I used only three @ionicsmarthobbies paints: dark red, red and blood red.

I began with the darkest base color and progressively applied the highlights using uneven brushstrokes that followed the natural direction of the fabric folds. To finish, I applied several thin glazes to smooth the transitions while preserving the weathered, textured appearance of the cloth.

I painted this Sturmtiger a few months ago, and it is still one of my favourite pieces. The model itself is incredible.

BIG and HEAVY 😁😁

I wanted to try something a little different with the camouflage, especially with the small painted circles across the vehicle. I was not completely sure about it at first, but I am really happy with the final result.

I would love to use it more often in Bolt Action, but it is such a big points investment that it is not easy to fit into a list. Even so, it still looks spectacular on the table.
