Heir Apparent to the Dark Lands Kingdom, Bowser Jr was a bratty king who always managed to get what he wanted with his tantrums. When he first heard of Zombie Stage, he loved the concept so much that he started going to these shows in secret almost every day, elated to see zombies being dismembered and always buying one of their body parts. When his father discovered it he was very angry, but later he legalized the shows, apparently to fight the criminals organizing it, but who knows, very probably he just did it to fulfill his son's whims...

(Late post, sorry)
Ludwig was always a shy and reserved person, who liked to stay alone and spending time researching things people his age don't care about. His strange behavior baffled people and so Ludwig behaved aggressively towards them, but only Wendy, his dearest friend, truly understood and was always close to him, keeping his darkest secrets. Even so, one day Wendy noticed that Ludwig was looking sicker and sicker, which he always dismissed as a little cold: finally, Ludwig confessed bursting in tears that he had got the zombie infection, and that he was hiding it out of fear of abandonment and kidnapping by the Zombie Stage criminals. Wendy comforted him, saying she would never leave his side no matter what.
Over the time, Wendy helped Ludwig by trying to hide the zombie infection signs, which were deteriorating him more and more, but that didn't help when criminals, thanks to hearsay rumors, kidnapped the now almost conscienceless Ludwig. Even so, Wendy didn't hold back: she had Ludwig bite her so that she could get infected too, and joined him in Zombie Stage.
Now, Ludwig's appearance is so disfigured that he has to wear a mask to hide his decaying face, is always covered with perfumes to hide the putrid odor of his rotting flesh and he is controlled by chains like a puppet to make him move, because his brain has been destroyed by the zombie infection. The saddest part of it is that all of the audience knows this.

Lemmy was born from an important family of clowns in the oldest circus of the Dark Lands: these factors, together with his dwarfism and strabismus, made him and his twin sister Leni fit to become the most famous clowns in all of the Mushroom World. When the zombie infection hit the country, the circus went broke and Lemmi and Leni were soon homeless, but criminals kidnapped them and infected them with the zombie virus to have them perform in Zombie Stage, exploiting their celebrity.
Still, even if the zombie infection destroyed more and more their bodies, the twins still remembered their old tricks which made them famous, and soon started to fill up Zombie Stage shows.
One day, though, Leni lost her performance and, as usual, we cut up and sold to the public, and even if he's supposed to have completely lost his brain activity long ago, Lemmy's performances have worsened since Leni's losing, probably due to grief...

Roy grew up with a poor single mother, so he always searched for jobs for sustaining himself and her. One day, he met someone who proposed him to become a butcher, that is someone who dismembers and sells zombies in a show called Zombie Stage. Because he was promised to get a good wage and out of fear for the zombie infection, Roy decided to follow that person, but actually he got kidnapped and soon realized that, even for someone so tough like him, cutting up zombies' bodies was too gruesome and disgusting, especially when people cheer everytime he does this, and that he's not getting paid at all and is controlled by the criminals organizing the shows. But now it's too late to escape...
