“Amidst soft chants, heart-rending screams, abysmal atmospheres, and the visceral tremolos of an overflowing thunderstorm, we delve into a universe wounded by constellations of noise. Because this is an album you don’t just listen to, you also experience.”

SUPERMASSIVE is now available on all streaming platforms! I poured my soul into this thing and I’m so damn proud of it. Give it a listen if you’re down for something new. Link to streaming outlets in bio. HUGE credits to Ken Pendola and Meagan Zahora for their vocal work on this release. 🤘 #postrock #wherepostrockdwells #postrockdiscovery #postrockcommunity #postrocknation #shoegaze #postmetal #doomgaze #ambient #diymusician #diymusic #chicagomusicscene #chicagomusic by @iotacentauri

I wrote SUPERMASSIVE in the last week of December 2024 through the first two weeks of January 2025, on the floor of my living room next to my dying dog. The album itself is sort of an ode to him, along with the experiences in life that have led me here today.

The last few months of 2024 really strained me, my creativity, my family, and my friendships as I encountered many struggles that felt like they were piling up on me, with no end in sight. The worst of all, learning that my best friend, the dog mentioned before, was diagnosed with a degenerative neurological disease that would rapidly paralyze him.

As I watched him fade beside me each night, I felt the need to release my sadness, frustrations, anger, and loss into what is now known as SUPERMASSIVE.

At a time where I thought I couldn’t reach the surface, I immersed myself in making music to express the onslaught of emotions that I was having.

The album was finished as I said goodbye to my longtime companion. It felt like the book was closing, finality. It’s been hard to come to terms with his death, but this whole experience was one that needed to happen, and it’s one that I will forever hold close to my heart.

Thank you all for your support so far. And a major thank you to Ken Pendola and Meagan Zahora for helping me tell this story vocally on these tracks. I really couldn’t have done it without you both.

SUPERMASSIVE releases March 21. It’s an album about love, loss, and tragedy — and it means the world to me. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did creating it. #postrock #postmetal #wherepostrockdwells #postrockdiscovery #postrockcommunity #postrocknation #shoegaze #supermassive #diymusician #diychicago #iotacentauri taken in Lombard, Illinois by @iotacentauri
