Come kick off a weekend of spooky with @thebuffwriter, @sistersbooks_nooks, and me, Iowa_Reads!

When Sarah and Jamie asked if I’d be interested in being a conversation partner, I said, “I don’t know what I’m doing, but heck yes!” 😂

And what better way to make my author-conversation debut than with an author whose books have made me question what's beneath the skin, wonder exactly 𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵'𝘴 𝘍𝘦𝘦𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘉𝘦𝘭𝘰𝘸, and become deeply suspicious of 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘔𝘦𝘢𝘯 𝘖𝘯𝘦𝘴?

Getting to chat with Tatiana about her books, horror, writing, and all the wonderfully creepy things that live beneath the surface is something I’m VERY excited about!

So come hang out with us, kick off the spooky weekend, and maybe leave with a few new things to be afraid of. 🖤

I hope you’ll join us!

🍁🍂Happy Halloween month!

We are going to be celebrating all month long! (Kind of...)

I'm going to be gone through the 11th, and I'm not even scheduling posts for it! Fully unplugging, so don't leave! I'll be back!

@jocey_reads is joining me for my last daily prompt challenge! After this month, I'm switching to a general "monthly theme list"!

The buddy read this month is coming from @pagesandcaroline!

I'm coming back with our first Quarterly Golden Goose Raffle! I'm really excited to return to this format.

QOTD: What event will I see you in!? Or - what are you looking forward to in October?

🦃🍁🦃🍁🦃🍁🦃🍁🦃🍁🦃🍁
Welcome to November!

This upcoming month will be the first month with all my new changes incorporated, and I'm excited to see how it goes!

Here are some of the things to expect:
🗓️No more daily posting prompts! I am giving an overarching list of ideas instead! Watch for that post coming soon!
🕘Readathons are back! I'm going to try to host one at least every other month!
⁉️Readers Respond is a Google Form! I will post the next month's question by the 15th, so you have time to answer!
🤞🏻Intentional reviews once a week. I'm HOPING to drop a little blurb, like a "what this week" situation at least once a week, but we'll see how it goes.

What is NOT changing:
♥️The chaos - I'm still me. So expect insanity 😂
👌🏻Dream Events will still happen once a month (with two in November to support small businesses!)
🎲Buddy reads and bingo - I love them too much so they're staying for good!

QOTD: Have you made any changes to your Bookstagram since you started? Or what changes are you considering making in the future?

The first question of the new Readers Respond format is live in my bio!

Head to the Google Form to be featured in a November post! We'll be talking all about book journals! Digital or otherwise, fill it out!

Accidentally wound up in Smugglers Notch. Knew nothing about it until I saw signs about being too long, no trailers, and $$$ fines.

Such a beautiful drive though. by @iowa_reads

Been wondering where I am? I've been traveling across New England for the last week!

We'll be heading back to the Midwest soon, and will be spending time with family!
