That's a wrap!

I'm so proud of what I accomplished through IPADE. Closing is bittersweet, but just one step in this grand adventure called Life. I didn't want to leave without sharing my story, just in case there's inspiration, information, or lessons learned that could help someone else in the future.

I sat down with Amber J. Phillips @amberabundance, designer of IPADE's beautiful interior and all around genius creative director, to spill the tea 🍵🐸. Watch our conversation on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fYmcTcPXnwY

Although it may not have happened quite as expected, we are still so thrilled by the response and execution of our Throwback WorldPride Party! Thank you to everyone who came out and enjoyed the sunshine on 20th St. NW. With pop-ups by @bloom.dupont, @shoptanem, @spalogicdc, and @lunehyoga, every corner of the block was full of fun.

A special thank you goes to @ipadewoc, who came through last minute to provide a beautiful venue for us to host DC Pride’s founder, Deacon Maccubin, and of course 70s tunes on aux by @djpandudc.

WorldPride in the Dupont Circle BID was unforgettable and we appreciate everybody who took part in our events! ❤️🏳️‍🌈 We hope everyone participating in the festivities this weekend including the 17th St. Festival and the Parade has an amazing time and continues to carry on Deacon’s 50-year tradition in DC. taken in ìpàdé by @ipadewoc

Don’t worry if you didn’t make it this time, I’ll definitely be planning more soon in the near future! So stay tuned.

I love that Art Release is something I can offer my community. Already have ideas for the next one 👩🏾‍🎨

Thank you @ipadewoc for your space and assistance as always! We always create magic together! 💕

#bts #diy Will definitely miss the beauty of the mahogany wood table but this one is so much lighter and it’s not so precious that I’ll have to worry about wear and tear.
