I am here to make friends and learn from other artists. I like graphite, charcoal, pencils, acrylic and oil paint. Ink. Pretty much all of it!

Every year Inktober ends and there is a void afterwards . I wanted to finish this rose while catching the outgoing energy of the month. It is a final thank you. Have a great weekend everyone and don’t be a stranger. ☺️❤️ #rose #thankyou #void #inktober by @ipaintlongisland

Inktober day 31: flex. It’s the epic handshake from Predator between Arnold Schwarzenegger and Carl Weathers. “Dillon! You SOB!’ I love that movie and most action movies from the 80’s through early 2000’s. If I ever feel down and need a pick me up they are there for me. Lol.
-This is also a great way to say thank you to everyone for coming along and encouraging and saying nice things. It is so much nicer to do this together. Now that Inktober is over we can do the tasks we put off. Or not. But first.. happy Halloween! 🎃🎉 #inktober #inktober2026 #inktoberflex #predator #muscles by @ipaintlongisland

Here is the seagull I drew when I didn’t feel like drawing the cookie for Inktober. This is a perfect example of how my side quests work. Thanks to my sister Gretchen for the reference photo. This seagull used to visit her balcony on vacation hoping to get some of whatever she was eating, lol.

Inktober day 30: cookie. I didn’t want to draw a cookie for some reason, so I put this one off as long as I could. I even drew a nice seagull instead to avoid the task. Finally, I remembered the Italian cookie that grew on me. The rainbow cookie. I didn’t like it for a long time, and then one day I just really liked it. Probably because of how long I’ve lived in New York. Also, the ones at Uncle Giuseppe’s are really good.
-One more day and we are done. Thanks everyone for coming along and sharing. It was a nice group hug! #inktober #inktober2026 #inktobercookie #rainbowcookie #uncleguiseppes by @ipaintlongisland

Inktober day 29: tusk. Walruses use their tusks to help pull themselves up onto ice and break breathing holes in it. Also social dominance. The whiskers they use to sense clams, mollusks, snails and crabs on the ocean floor. Because it’s dark down there. They dive down to about 200 feet and can stay underwater around 30 minutes. There, I learned some more facts. Nice. Random walrus appreciation. Anyway, enjoy your day everyone! #inktober #inktober2026 #inktobertusk #walrus by @ipaintlongisland

Inktober Day 28: trophy. I really enjoyed watching the FIFA World Cup this summer. We watched several games a day. When it was over, I missed it and had a bit of withdrawal. Until next time!
I’m not typically a sports person but I think part of it was feeling something positive uniting the world. #inktober #inktober2026 #inktobertrophy #fifa #worldcup2026 by @ipaintlongisland

Inktober day 27: dumb. This is the Ocean Sunfish, or Mola Mola. I actually really love this fish. It looks so cool. It’s massive and an interesting shape. It’s supposedly ‘dumb’ because it’s big and slow moving, parasites feast on it which is why it lays at the surface so that birds can eat them off. And predators regularly take bites out of them. But hey man, this fish is just chillin’. Unconcerned. Low cortisol. 😎☀️ #inktober #inktober2026 #inktoberdumb #oceansunfish #molamola by @ipaintlongisland

Inktober day 26: zip. I thought I would be funny. 😂 There are 5 days left! Home stretch! 🎉 #inktober #inktober2026 #inktoberzip by @ipaintlongisland

$Inktober day 25: fracture. The only thing I could think of was a fractured skull. And I opened IG this morning and saw a lot of other great ideas. One of the things I love about Inktober is seeing how everyone else interprets these prompts, sometimes in ways I would never guess. Please keep thinking of things with your own cool brain. Just say no to AI. I want to see the window into your own brain, not the remote computer. #inktober #inktober2026 #inktoberfracture #skull #justsaynotoaiart by @ipaintlongisland$

Inktober day 24: bake. Is it a crime to give you this little mac & cheese after several days of masterful finished pieces? Maybe. But that kind of output is not sustainable for me. You witnessed the peak. What goes up must come down. Anyway, who likes baked mac & cheese? I want to, but I can never eat a lot of it. Still, it has great texture. #inktober #inktoberbake #inktober2026 #macandcheese by @ipaintlongisland
