Oh Mommy 💔🥹 My best friend and my safe place. I had the best mom in the whole wide world. Talk about beauty and brains. Mommy was a highly intelligent woman. A scholar. A master of mathematics and numbers. Mom could solve a math problem in seconds. Graceful, wise, kind, loving, nurturing, protective, and extremely disciplined. Mommy was a quiet person but still carried a strong presence, and mommy could SAAAAAAAAANG! She was boisterous alto. Fun fact: Mommy could read music too 🎶

Rest easy, Momma. Please come visit me 🥹🦋

My dad was the “Coolest Cat” I knew. A jack of all trades but a master of the arts. Musician, poet, vocalist, a creative genius. A true “Renaissance Man”. I’mma miss you, Daddy. Thank you for trusting me with your care until the end. Know that Willie and I did EVERYTHING we could do. We fought with and for you. Thank you for praying over us and giving us your final blessing before you took your last breath. We know and trust God because of YOU. Well done, Daddy. Well done. Now rest. We gone be alright 💙

Love,
“Pooks”
